I don't think Forza has been rushed at all. They've been working on it since Forza 4. You have to realize Forza 4 didn't just magically ship with 600 cars. Those cars were slowly added to the game over the course of the 360s lifecycle. Forza 5 has more cars then Forza 2 and I enjoyed that game a lot so I'm not worried at all.

They started the game from the ground up to truly make it next gen. I would rather that over a port with 400 cars that look like trash. Would weather and dynamic lighting be pretty cool? Absolutely. But I know they had a lot on their plate. What their doing with the A.I. is an awesome idea. Hopefully it's implemented well because I'm sick and tired of racing A.I. that act like robots.

Whether or not it's a legit reason, I think they need to do better scanning of tracks to get them on next gen....That's what I've read. When you have more detail you need to gather more information.

Forza 2 (the first one on 360) shipped with about 300 cars, best I can tell. Had 50 added through DLC. Forza 5 is what, 200?

I think the tracks are about the same, though.

I mean, you have to start over with new assets, just like Gran Turismo did on PS3.

The poor reviews that most of Sony's exclusives are getting makes me glad I got both consoles.

I also expect that all reviewers are going to go all out in ensuring that they don't give overwhelmingly positive reviews for games just because of the new tech.

Dont let these guys ruin the games for you on either system man.

Play and have fun, you have the right to that. Wouldnt even be shocked if some of them are doing it because they were mad they didnt get those early consoles.

I fully expect Sessler to go into full "whiny bitch" mode like he did on Twitter (and worse until he got his PS4 early) and knock some of these things more than they deserve. Media is way past the point of actually being about reviews now for the big sites.

Its a launch. If anyone expected GTA V-caliber type game on launch, then they are crazy. I wouldn't buy too much into those scores. I remember people were reviewing consoles and actually giving them scores. How can you give a console a critic score?! LOL. That is the most asinine thing I ever heard. I think both xb360 and ps3 got a 7/10 at launch. Its about the marathon, not about the lap.

I think that's a fair point, too.

I'm not overly concerned, as two months down the line I'm going to have too many good games to play.

Honestly I'd ignore all of that talk man. This time of the year and during a launch you should expect almost anything. Especially with the expectations and console wars going on.

Once the games come out that trash will go through the window watch and see.

Reports of ps4 hardware not working, even article on IGN about it, hope this isnt like a 3 ring situation like we had to go through with 360.
