I wish I had more time to play that game. When I do have the time, I'm too lazy to get my mouse / keyboard out...I just grab my X360 PC controller and play whatever I feel like. Is the controller support for X-COM good? I know I can't play multiplayer and expect to compete, but I've heard the campaign is decent.

I used my wired 360 controller and worked awesomely for XCOM...Didn't use mouse/keyboard at all.

I'm with you though! I've played XCOM, Walking Dead, Far Cry 3, and Hitman Absolution lately through Steam and all are made to use the Xbox controller amazingly.

I doubt I'd really ever use the mouse and keyboard anymore, just not as comfortable to relax on the couch or whatnot IMO.

I just realized XCOM has a demo on Steam (d/ling now). The only time I get my keyboard and mouse out is when I want to play TF2 or L4D2 (online). Trying to play multiplayer on an FPS with a controller is suicide.

Using code CAGROCKS knocks them to 5.99. Just picked them up myself.

Do they activate on Steam? Not a big fan of Origin.

Anyone tried Kerbal Space Program? It looks fun and for $23, you get the game and updates forever. Reviews are pretty good and it looks fun. I'm downloading the demo right now and thought I'd pass the information along.

Playing X-Com on the PC with a controller is blasphemy.

$23 looks to a bit much for that game in its current state. At least it looks original.
