Debating on buying all my games online. Batman looks wonderful so far. I was looking at mods for NBA 2k12. Oh, why did I wait so long? Steam has a lot of older games for a reasonable price too. If Sony would bite the bullet and start putting a lot of their games on there, I would definitely never need to do a console again. Any suggestions from you guys would be delightful.

Yeah, that's why you'll never see Sony first party titles on PC with few exceptions.Debating on buying all my games online. Batman looks wonderful so far. I was looking at mods for NBA 2k12. My sole recommendation is don't buy anything that's not on sale unless you're comfortable with the occasional buyer's remorse. Sales are fast and frequent, many titles I don't have time for but will surely purchase go un-bought knowing they'll be on sale later in the year. Some games though I am fine with paying full price for, I know I'll get my money's worth with them usually.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Goh, I know the running joke is you don't like any game. So I was surprised to see you list this, I have never heard of it. Is it good???
I also got in my MK550 yesterday. Looks like a fantastic board, I have yet to give it a go. I only have one complaint, it seems the space bar is spongy.
I also beat Mafia 2 last night, not much of a open world game. But as a linear mob story I thought it was pretty darn good and gripping suspenseful.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
It looked great, I was more impressed with the story. It was a good mob story.
I will give it a test in couple days.
I am looking to pick up another game to play through. I am torn between Kingdoms of Amalur, Assassins Creed Revelations or Saints Row The Third.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Yes I liked it. It's not very long and the story is thin but it plays very well (minus one literal platforming part),very convenient weapon system and I liked the style. There's an extended edition coming soon that'll be a free upgrade for anyone that already has it,which might mean it'll be on sale again soon. It has a demo on Steam.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
This mix of old school dungeon crawling and modern tech for Legend of Grimrock looks pretty cool. I think I will pick it up once I finally beat Dragon Age 1. It is only 14 bucks so nothing to break the bank.
Also thinking about picking up Amnesia: The Dark Descent, I heard great reviews about it.

I plan on it, going to use my fantastic Sennheiser HD280s! These things are flat out unreal for sound quality. Granted they are only stereo of course since they are music industry quality.

Legend of Grimrock is great. I went the GOG route because of a few extras. It has that Dungeon Master old school vibe to it. Loving it so far.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I have it and it's a great "atmosphere" intensive game. I've had times where I never moved for 15 minutes as I just knew if I turned around there would be something looking back at me. Highly recommend the game.
