steam's mid-week sale is 75% off Half-life series and 70% off Need for Speed series(the last 3 at least, shift, hot pursuit and underground). pick up Half-life complete pack, 10 games for $9.99. played most of them, but never owned them(played the game at friends house for most of them) ends in ~36 hours from when I posted this.

Even I'm saying it will start tomorrow. In the past, Valve has lead up to Steam sales with deals on Valve games. The past two deals (weekend/midweek) have included L4D2 and HL2. Also, like the article MachoMyers posted said, there are no new games scheduled to be released in the next 12 days. Sale is usually 11 days...irony?
