So I did the whole tape a button down thing yesterday for a trophy. I'm playing Ratchet and Clank and you get a trophy for 1 million bolts, I went to a place that has infinite bolts and taped a button down and left the system. I started with 20k bolts and after 15 hours I was at 800k bolts. If it is taking that long at a infinite bolts spot, can you imagine doing this through a playthrough? Geez. Anyway, I save the game at 800k bolts and will let it run again tonight I guess. Talk about a ridiculous trophy.

Do you guys have any games that you play most every day that keeps you from trying new games ? Also, do you ever buy games solely because the trophy list or do you just go after games you all ready buy for the enjoyment.

Just trying to get some perspective from everyone. I'm lvl 10, but I don't even have a single Platinum.

The sports games, usually. I'm still playing MLB 11 The Show, played NBA 2K11 to death, and the trophies in Madden this year are way more difficult than in years past.

I've never really bought a game because of a trophy list. First time I look at a trophy list is after I've bought the game and played it for a bit.

1. MLB the Show and COD duty games tke alot away from my trophy getting. So yes to that. </p>
2. I picked up a Cabella game and Back to the future (which neither were bad) because the trophies looked easy. (they were ) So also Yes. </p>
Sidenote a games trophy list used to have a lot to do with the games I buy. Anymore though I've found that those games aren't very good. So now I just buy games I like with the exception of a limited few.

Yeah, I bought a Harry Potter game for an easy Platinum and got somewhere around 90% of the trophies, before giving up. I need to buy it again just to knock those out.. lol.
