I do have a warranty..... a Square Trade one. I just don't want to have to deal with Sony for my first year. That's how it works right? U deal with Sony until the 12 month manufacturers warranty is up?

If you have accident coverage, then it can have an "accident" and you don't have to go through Sony. Be warned though your cover is not for 2 or 3 years, it is a dollar amount coverage limit. If they repair it 1 time, they subtract the cost from the $400 and that is all you would get. If they replace it with a new one, policy ends.

I didn't want to post this in the PS4 master list thread....but I was just wondering...what games are folks playing that we might be able to party up in sometime.

I won't be getting BF4 until Christmas (or shortly after) but I guess this is the biggest one?
I just started playing ResoGun as well....that has MP doesn't it?....I never paid attention if it does or not....sorry

One last thing....DAMN does it take a while to download anything...I've got decent internet and it's still slow as a snail...I even went into my router and set up my PS4 to have high priority in the qos setting.

Unless internet comes down in price (don't see that happening) I'm definitely going to stick to physical copy's of games...because I can't imagine downloading a game from 30 to 50 gigs in size every time.

I mainly play the F2P Blacklight: Retribution as my online shooter, but own Killzone/COD. There is also Madden/2K which are mainly my single player games, but I go online occasionally. I'll PM my gamertag.

Sounds good Sausage...I've sent a request.
I tried playing Retribution last night,but kept lagging out and getting disconnected from host...it was an awful 1st impression of the game...although I did play a couple of practice rounds to get the "feel" of the game,and I do like what I played of it....I would like to get a different map though...lol

I seen that ResoGun has co-op and it's pretty fun,you oughta download that one and we can play that one also.

I should be getting Madden in the mail in the next few days and I'd be willing to play that with ya as well online...beware though,I try to play as close to the real life Steelers,so you should have no problem dropping 50 on me....lmao

I don't have time for 2 systems as everyday life mainly religion-family/work are always priority and I just don't have the time for 2 consoles.

I remember when I have PS2 and Xbox and have some ample time to enjoy both. Being married and raising kids plus work dont have much time to enjoy both NG consoles. But Im glad that I switched to PS 4

I know there is a section for it already,but it would be nice to get the message "popup" like we did on the PS3.

You guys FR notifications on the xmb but not when people are online. not sure if they plan on adding that or not but nothing stops you from going to check while not cutting the game off youre playing

That was intentional on Microsoft and Sony both I think because of the expanded friends list. However they should have an option for each friend whether or not you want notified. I certainly don't want to have it on for everyone but for certain people I would... Hopefully they add this in an update soon.

I'm ecstatic they removed that. Was so annoying last gen. But I agree the OPTION to turn it on or off would be nice.

I have not turned off my PC in several years lol unless the power goes out while I'm at work and had to start the system back up when I got back.

So those fearful of standby mode should not be. Both consoles are basically gaming PCs and will function as one. No worry needed of leaving it in low power state. If something is going to fail, it will happen whether you turn it off everytime or leave it on from day one.

I play as the Skins and trust me we will end in a 0-0 tie. I love resogun as well. Don't give up on Blacklight; I occasionally get in a bad match, but leave and jump in another.**

I'll be sure and shoot you a FR. A buddy of mine is all into this game...lol I played a few rounds with him earlier and he had to explain alot of it to me...lol

Needless to say...I had no idea the customization was this deep,so much stuff to customize it's really crazy,and it really opened up my eyes to this game.
