These suckers going to be in stock anywhere anytime soon? I'm sure they're all out with Christmas being yesterday, but is like to buy one when I get back to school with my Christmas surplus, problem is nobody has it.
I was at Best Buy today to pickup an order, and I was exchanging glances with the manager who was fielding phone calls at the desk. While I was there, five or six calls came in, all of which were inquiring about PS4 stock. She kept having to say "no we don't have any in stock, and we don't know when we will get them in." She would roll her eyes each time, I couldn't help but laugh. My guess is no stock for a couple weeks at least.
And holy hell was the return line long - is it always like that the day after Christmas? Haha.
Is Zen up to par with Pinball Arcade? The video of the game looks kinda over the top with the ball trail and cut scenes.
All of that can be turned off, which I do.
I hate when games always default to/show gameplay videos of effects and settings that I use differently, because my argument is they are not showing the game's greatness to its true potential. Same goes for ZEN Pinball.

This is the only thing that Has really disappointed me. The PSN network is no where near Xboxlive. It has been down several times for me & I lose connection to my party or a game almost every night. I haven't been able to connect to PSN for over 2 hours now. At least I can play Resogun in the meantime.
I'm going to agree with you on this as well. To be honest never experienced this with live either in 8 years using it. I love my ps4, but PSN needs help at this point. It's bad that psn goes down once in a while for whatever reason. At this point they should've prepared their network for all the consoles they sold. I hope this isn't going to be the norm and just something for now.
You'd hope they'd anticipate this and act on it, though. Plus, nowadays we are all paying for the service (or at least they got some bonuses the past couple of years with PS+) and there isn't this toss-up between people with Ethernet and 56k if... if that has to do with anything.
I see your point and yes we are paying now but people have short memories. I had Xbox Live from the first day you could purchase it and I remember a ton of outages early on. We are slightly over a month of the service becoming a mandatory paying service so its expected that there will be some growing pains.
Two, because of the free month of plus damn near everyone whom owns a ps4 is on Plus right now. This will change after a month or so once the people who only used plus because of the free code.

I hope you are right because I am really enjoying my PS4. The main argument I have is that PSN has been around for a long time, it's not new. Just because people are now paying for it shouldn't make it worse. It's not like that changes how the PS's connect to the network. I'm not sure why there would be growing pains on PSN just because it is now a paid service. They have been running PSN for years and years. Maybe I don't understand how it works.
From what I have heard NFS gets stale after a couple weeks. That is just what a couple friends told me when I was thinking about buying it.
I think you are right, I mean the game only has so many things to do, the customization is not very deep, and there is only 1 map. Now, I'm fine with those things because the gameplay to me is so fun & thrilling. It is a high speed Michael Bay racing game. 4 human players in a race, cops chasing, spike strips being dropped, road blocks to dodge, and special powers going off..............yeaaaaa it is badass whirl wind of excitement and fun

I love the Boba Fett table, but none of the others have replaced Arabian Nights yet. Of course I still want packs from both games.
Zen Pinball is more polished throughout the whole game. Scores are a lot easier to track. More options with customization and controller layouts. I feel like the tables themselves tend to go overboard with the additional mini-games (seriously, the first 2-3 times for each mini-game I can barely read and comprehend the instructions) and effects for each table, but its still just as fun. If you're a table enthusiast Arcade has all of the old school nostalgia and atmosphere pumping through their tables complete with ****ty MIDI influenced sound effects and music. If you're looking for a more elaborate, visually pleasing, and more digitally enhanced games then Zen is there. Honestly, the best option is to have both and have every table and that's what I'm gonna shoot for.
Also, I'm coming for you Boba Fett players. I held the #1 for a couple hours yesterday. This alone will keep me playing at least 15 minutes a day.
I never knew how much I would be into pinball machines. I should have been born ten years earlier. My parents would have been poor with all the quarters I would have been running through.
Real close to spending the $30 to buy all season one tables.

Not PS4 related, but I picked up GT6 for $40 at GameStop yesterday. Since I had my ps3 on I took a peak at the free plus games. Wow. Borderlands 2, xcom, dirt 2, and binary logic all free in December. How did I miss all of that? Not to mention bioshock infinite, dmc, and brothers will be free in January.
