Pissed at PSN because I can't beat any of LingeringRegime's high scores in Zen Pinball.

Nevermind, that's my own fat, uncoordinated fingers' fault.

I am having so much fun with this. It is really fun trying to beat your friends scores. I need to get on tonight, but I will be moving soon so I need to play or I will never be able to catch up with you guys.

PlayStation 4 Discussion

I finally played Zen and It's pretty good. I still prefer the look and feel of Pinball Arcade though.

I've only done the free Sorcerer's Lair table and I'm in a waaaaaaay distant second to Lingering Regime on my friends list. Crazy score. I'll probably buy some more soon, but I was surprised to see that they didn't offer all of the available ones in a package of some kind.

Being able to track scores further reminded me how much Pinball Arcade needs that patched in. Hopefully they get on that soon.

I really appreciate that if you bought the zen pinball 2 tables on ps3 they are free on the ps4. Wasn't expecting that. Respect.

They do though. Surprised how much more fun that makes everything.

If BF4 had a bot mode similar to COD Ghosts; I wouldn't need another shooter for a long time.

I hope you are right because I am really enjoying my PS4. The main argument I have is that PSN has been around for a long time, it's not new. Just because people are now paying for it shouldn't make it worse. It's not like that changes how the PS's connect to the network. I'm not sure why there would be growing pains on PSN just because it is now a paid service. They have been running PSN for years and years. Maybe I don't understand how it works.

I don't know.

I'm an offline gamer and would only sign into the PSN when it was necessary to download a patch or whatever and I know I'm not alone in that facet.

I don't think it's that far fetched to believe that with the mandatory pay service that it would affect the number of users constantly signed in.

How often do the free games for PS+ come out? Every month? Also is it usually a year or so after AAA games come out they be are available?

Every month. I say 6-9 mos for AAA titles. I bet we start seeing games like Knack in May-June.

Amazon is getting pummeled every time some consoles come up for sale, which I'm assuming is people returning consoles they feel aren't worth trying to scalp. Every time the alert comes up, I take a peek and amazon's servers are a little wonky and/or returning a 500 error.

I guess I got lucky. While searching for other things on Amazon, I noticed the Xbox One and PS4 were in stock and ordered both. They will be waiting for me when I get back to the states in 2 weeks.

Yeah, you got lucky with PS4. I'm not planning on buying yet, was going to wait until spring when there's more reason to, but every time that alert goes off it nudges me ever closer to that edge. I honestly don't check often, but every time I've gotten curious and looked XBone has been in stock at Amazon.

I never received the 30 day trial of PSN+...must've been a launch thing idk...Oh well, I did finally get a PS4 tho...I'm stoked as hell to fire it up on my next 7 days off

What games did you get? Maybe we can get a game online..
