2k struggles are really bad . Barely get a game online

Yeah the 2K server problems are rapidly crossing over into inexcusable territory. It has been nearly unplayable since Friday. Really, 2K? Love the game but if it is going to be so online dependent maybe you ought to spend more money on the servers and/or hire someone competent to keep them running.

I just play exhibition games myself so it doesn't affect me

I have never been a fan of online sports games just prefer setting up matches in exhibition against the cpu. Most the modes like ultimate team, franchise modes, be a player etc. I never play just not into team building or being one player. You do need these modes though for the people that play them as everyones's different. What is sad with NBA 2K14 is the single player modes are affected as a connection is needed to play them.

Couldn't play MyPlayer tonight. The only mode I play. Glad to see sites like Kotaku starting to hammer at 2k for this. Starting to draw some valid comparisons to the SimCity /Diablo 3 debacles.

Personally it is already worse, I knew what I was buying with those titles.

It is literally giving NBA Live some life. I know a lot of my friends have traded in 2k, unreal graphics or not, and bought Live to see what they thought. Personally, the two games are still far apart but at least the online portion works. I'll hold on to 2k, they'll get it fixed.

I traded in NBA 2K for $40 at GameStop. Live looks bad to me and 2K is just full of issues.

I'm content without a basketball game. Bring on The Show!

This year will be the first time I've had The Show since '08 on the PSP.

I'm pretty excited for a true baseball title for once. Maybe The Show can get me back into the MLB again. Haven't been since the days of MVP 2005.

Kotaku did indeed drop the hammer. Nice to see. 2K needs to be taken to the woodshed for this.

It does suck that 2k servers have been terrible, but there's barely any NG games out right now. I wish more titles were dropping soon.

I am ready for some 'Next-Gen' titles, in the sense of pure 'awe' I haven't been struck by any game thus far. Not to say I'm not loving games, but there hasn't been anything that has 'wowed' me to the point that I can say, this leap is substantial. Dying Light, Watch Dogs and Infamous look to change that! I also can't wait for a next gen FO or Elder Scrolls! Or just about any RPG in general, I'd love to see the direction that a developer would take with the amount of power the current systems have.
