It appears to be a generic error code for an application crash.

Outside quick game, FIFA crashes every time after I finish a game in FUT or career mode. Even after deleting the game and reinstalling. Looks like I'm going to have to initialize the PS4 which I didn't wanna do and lose my career saves.

Worse is no company has admitted fault to this error. Sony has been pushing on the developers and developers have been pushing it on Sony.

The dreaded ce-34878-0 error has hit me. Based on my search this problem is huge and is spread to a lot of different games and apps. Let's go Sony!

Sadly, this error has rendered my digital copy of FIFA14 useless because I cannot advance after any career match. And there are no solutions.

Huge black eye by Sony.

It's unbelievable because the problem has been here since launch. Based on my search no one even knows if it's software or hardware because people have reformatted with no success. The fact Sony hasn't addressed is ridiculous.

Oddly I didn't had any issues till I created a FUT last night and after the intro march it crashed and had been crashing since.

This needs to be getting more press.

How do we know it's Sonys fault? BF4 had many of these errors come up after it launched. Several BF4 patches later and not a single PS4 OS patch the issue has dropped significantly. Clearly was an issue with BF4.

Developers have a responsibility to make sure their games work across all platforms. Sony has dev platform support teams that can help them but they have to ask for help.

Google the error or even go look at the 2K board. The error is widespread from BF to COD to 2K to Assassins Creed. All these different developers messed something up?

Mine is just plain old career mode. Can't get past the first friendly of the season.

There aren't any solutions floating around the net either.

And there's no way I'm taking a chance of re-initializing my PS4.

I don't even want my money. Back because I love FIFA. I just want the damn thing to work.

It's a generic application error code. It could be an error for anything programming related not just this code means you did this wrong. So yes, it's possible they all have bugs in their software.

Everything reads that this is a Sony issue. People were thinking it was EA at first but just look at the same errors 2K14 is having.

Nope, it's disc. My game crashes in CM as soon as I finish a game and hit advance. The icon that it's saving pops up for a second and game crashes. Oddly enough exhibition games work fine.

Problem is very frustrating. I decided to do initialize, rebuild database and initialize again. Currently setting everything up again which may be worthless because who knows when this problem can strike again.

I have had that error happen in every game I own. Sure it happened in NBA 2K and BF4 the most, but I had it happen in FIFA, Madden, ACIV and about 6 different indie games I own as well. The first time I tried to play the pinball games, that error happened too. Even happened with Don't Starve.

But this generic code has been here since 11/15 and no one has addressed it. Not Sony or the developers. Gamers are stuck in limbo because some of the fixes work while others don't and who knows when this error may come back. It's frustrating.

Just randomly? Are you able to progress in games because FIFA is basically unplayable for me because of this error.
