As an example, getting to a Madden online connected career on PS3 can take almost a minute just getting from the main menu to where you can actually do something on the career mode screen. On PS4, it's 10 seconds if that long (on the same connection). It just seems much more optimized on the PS4.
This. That's what I notice with Fifa. I hated Fifa14 paned Ui on ps3 it was so slow. Almost if they designed those menus to actually use on next gen because next gen they're incredibly fast online and off.

My PSN speeds have been outstanding so far. About a 3GB file takes me 20 minutes to DL which is much improved over what PSN on the PS3 did.

For all of you guys that play FIFA, is there a mode where a few of us OSers can play on the same pitch together as teammates vs the cpu?

Or would that be only against other users?

Just happened again in the new location on a wooden desk this time. I just tried inserting a disc and it won't take it as it's just constantly ejecting.

The ps4 is a huge jump network wise for me. Xbl always ran smooth but my ps3 always lagged, dropped out of games, and downloads took forever to download.

But with the ps4 I don't have any of those issues .

This might be a silly question, but is there a way to record gameplay and upload it on youtube easily?

I havent touched the record feature until last night, but I see you can only upload to facebook. I really dont wanna do that. Are there any other options?

Hmm, maybe it's just me, or my connection. PS3 was always smooth for me, and i've played live plenty of times with friends who have xbox 360 and i can't tell a difference. They both played the same. I rarely had laggy games. Maybe it's something with connection or ISP.

                    1) Upload to Facebook, make sure it's public.
                    2) Right click, Copy Link Address (or similar)
                    3) Go to downvids.net or something and paste in the link.
                    4) Download the video
                    5) Reupload to Youtube

Bit of a pain, but I did it yesterday. Didn't take too long.

It's definitely not placebo, updates, DLC and demo downloads on the PS3 took several minutes, some took seemingly forever, to d/l and now, on PS4, it's about four to five times as fast.

It's not the connection, my 360 was always blazing fast, attached to the same router via Ethernet as my ps3.

The other way is an option otherwise set your videos to private via the PS4 so you can only view them, if you have firefox download Flash Video Downloader 5.3.2. and when you watch the video over facebook, next to the URL bar will be a download option. I just set it to private so I don't flood facebook with videos, the actual privacy is a personal choice, but uploading them to facebook before youtube is the only way at the moment.

PS3 was definitely slow downloading, my experience wasn't quite as slow as some others, but it was slower than it should have been.

As for facebook, you could always make one specifically for the PS4. I didn't have, nor do I want, a facebook profile so I made one specifically for my PS4 for the things I need it for. www.facebook.com/burns.leven
