My Turtle Beach PX-21 works just fine with it, and unlike the PS3, you only need to plug the USB part in and the game audio comes directly through the PS4 - not the TV.

$46 on Amazon.

Damn....one more stupid question.

If Nba2k14' 2+ gigs of updates are downloading, can I still play my madden career or bf4 single player? Will the update keep dowloading as long as I am not doing multiplayer modes online?

It should. I was downloading DLC for Assassins Creed and it finish when I was playing another game.

Finally hooked this thing up. Currently trying to download the FIFA and live demos.....it's crawling right now. It's saying 24 hours to download FIFA and 58 hours to download live??


I never had slow downloads like this on ps3 ??

Well, I had the eject disk error happen to me. I think mikenoob talked about it earlier in this thread. My console makes the eject disk noise every 5-10 seconds and it won't accept a disk. I've done all the remedies suggested and they work for about on hour. Back to Sony my launch system goes. Looks like I will be without a system for 10-14 days.

Either way, the demos were done downloading this morning when I got up, it must have sped up over night.

I just read that. Maybe thats why last night the speed was so slow. It's a possibility.

I installed NBA2k14 twice and repatched it twice (talk about a process, sheesh), and since I use an optical hookup for my audio I get the wonderful bitstream audio glitching every time I try to play.

I've done research on this and 2k has not addressed this over FOUR patches?? Bah, come on, man! It's the only title that it happens on for me, and I'm not interested enough in the game I've seen so far to use the 'switch audio output to linear PCM' workaround just to make the game playable.

I did some play now and myplayer, but I guess I've become so disenfranchised with the NBA in general that I just can't even get into a game that looks this amazing, and it DOES look incredible. But it's busted and I'm just not having fun so back it goes for Tomb Raider.

I still really can't believe 2k didn't address such a significant audio issue...not all of us have HDMI receivers yet.

Okay, 2k rant over.

I've got six games so far and I love them all, but Madden is the only one I play. I know it's not perfect, but it's the most fun I've had with a football game in a long time.

I really need some down time though to play some other games.

I get you, I definitely love M25 on this platform as well, and I had already played through 3+ seasons on the 360 version. Even though I had to 'start over', I feel like I'm seeing all the players and venues for the first time again so it is all fresh to me. The animations, smoothness of control, the UI looks better to me in those colors, and even the superior replay cams make it a nice upgrade (IMO, YMMV, usual Madden disclaimers, etc).

The best thing is that this is just a starting point for next-gen Madden. I'm jazzed to see how M15 turns out this August/September.
