For PS+, are the automatic uploads to the cloud supposed to be every night?

It does it every night for my PS3, but my PS4 is random for when it auto uploads. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't and I can't figure it out.

You can go into settings, power save settings, then have your DS4 turn off after 10 minutes. Or just plug it in and charge it right after you choose your movie.

Mine never does it consistently. I have it set for 10 minutes, but it rarely shuts off on its own.

So I decided to give Outlast a try last night and I found what all you guys were saying to be true. The game is scary and has tons of "jump out at you" scary moments that made me jump out my chair a couple of times. I had my Astro A50's on to capture the ambiance and the sound and music give this game a great atmosphere. Im liking the game a lot but am not really looking forward to playing it

This is a first. There has never been a game that was overwhelmingly reviewed here as good and free that I havent downloaded. But everytime I read the impressions of Outlast in this thread I'm like....."That sounds fun but Nah **** that game."

I'm a wuss and the last thing I need is to be thinking about this game when I'm trying to go to sleep.

Some of the better PS4 games have been free. Don't Starve and Outlast. I am glad everyone seems to really enjoy these games.




I played Outlast on Tuesday. I didn't get to start playing until around midnight. I walked around a bit outside, messing with the camera and the controls.

Did anyone notice while approaching the asylum

That when you are walking towards the asylum, I noticed two different times that something would look out the window and then disappear, pretty creepy

Got into the asylum and walked into two rooms.

Walked into the room where the TV comes on

and said F THIS! It was too late, I was tired anyway and I felt like someone was behind me.

I didn't get to play last night, but I plan on diving into again tonight. Hopefully I can last longer than 10 minutes.

I don't scare easily. Especially movies, I guess bc subconsciously I know its a movie, idk. Anyway I never in a million years would have thought a even a "horror" game could SCARE me, taking OG Resident Evil at age 12 out of the equation.

I haven't gotten very far into Outlast, but this game makes me jump. And playing late at night last night I couldn't bring myself to throw thr Turtle Beaches + DSS on. Not going to lie, I was freaked out.

I was trying to open doors in the asylum, and was damn near praying said doors would not open and stay locked.

Yeah, that last bit reminds me of when I was reading King as a teenager, and I would only read 'The Shining' during daylight hours. I got to the part about room 217 and literally was so scared I couldn't turn the page to continue in that reading session lol.

My wife is skeptical and curious about this game as I've been telling her about the conversation about it in this thread. I might download it anyway and give her the controller and watch her play...from the bedroom doorway.

Hahahaha....i was doing the same as well. Was hoping the door wouldn't open so i can get give my heart a break

Not going to lie..I was playing with my Astro A50's on on my bean bag and at one part I actually jumped a little and let out a little scream that scared my wife while she was on her ipad.

I got to a part relatively early in the game and this was my exact thought process.

"Am I stuck? Yes I'm stuck. That door over there looks evil. I'm gonna tell myself it's locked and I'm stuck. Time to turn the game off."

Only played Outlast for a short time yesterday before calling quits. About 30 minutes or so.

Cussed my PS4 out after opening the library door.

Main character's breathing patterns don't exactly help keep the player relaxed either. Might have to invest in a nightlight if I plan on progressing any further.

Not to divert attention from Outlast, but Ubisoft has a digital JRPG-inspired title hitting all consoles April 30th. It looks beautiful.
