Curious to hear the reason so many people are trading in 2K14.

FWIW, I don't play it often.

The whole VC stuff and lack of editing rosters offline did it for me. I was looking forward to classic teams with edited rosters as I do not care much for the current NBA teams. I refuse to support devs that put micro transactions over a core game with complete modes. As much as I hate on EA, at least they give us complete modes and put all their micro crap in their own place.

So let me ask you guys this.. If I order Ghosts on Amazon for PS3 ($30), will the $10 upgrade work? Reply would be appreciated.

Also, I might cop a copy of Thief tomorrow..

Game looks like a lot of fun.

Meh. I'm really disappointed. Also, interestingly, this is Housemarque's second PS+ title, they also made Resogun.

This might disappoint me less if it didn't seem so much like Sony getting them to port a game Sony already owns real quick to fill in a PS+ quota.

Almost 100% positive its still running but I cant remember if its until the end of March or the beginning. I just did the upgrade on Battlefield 4 about 3 days ago for instance.

NBA 2K is pretty much the only game that I've played across all of my consoles (PS4, PS3 and 360) since mid-December. The only other games I've played are Tell Tales episodes when they drop and I can knock those out in a night. I play 2k almost nightly. With a few slider tweaks the game plays great for me.

Honestly VC really doesn't bother me that much. I agree that it's bad in principle, but if you actually play the game then you should have plenty to go around. I'm just sitting on 60K+ and I haven't spent the first (real) dime.

I haven't had any problems out of the servers, any kickbacks to the menu, black screens or anything like that. Also I only play MyGm and have never cared about classic rosters (I wish that they would do away with them altogether and focus on current players, honestly), so that's not an issue for me either. As of now my biggest issue with the game is that some players randomly lose their headbands. That's saying a lot considering the issues the game came with and ended up with after the first patch or two.

Glad you are having a good experience. The 2k forums here, and 2k's own forums, would almost have me believe you are some form of basketball unicorn or something lol.

The actual game plays very well its once you get out of the game and into the menus/other systems that can be problems.

Thankfully I haven't had any major setbacks yet.

I just purchased a PS4 last week and while I have AC4 (great game by the way) I am looking for my sports fix until The Show comes out.. Madden or 2K decisions decisions lol
