Finally started COD: Ghosts after having the thing sit there unplayed since December. Pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying the game. Having not played a war themed shooter in years helps I guess. The story sucks, but I like how each mission gives you something different to do. My favorite mission so far is one that happens inside a baseball stadium. I don't know what it is about stadium levels in games. Max Payne 3 had a good one inside a soccer stadium. More developers should incorporate stadiums into their shooters.

Ok, I must say the PS4 is starting to fall behind on the software side of things. First Xbox One got HD streaming on Twitch, along with archiving on Twitch, now direct upload to Youtube too ? If Microsoft announces a price drop, Sony will be in trouble.

Microsoft was always ahead on the software side, that was their whole selling point lol. "Look at all the cool things you can do on our system while playing games in 900p! You can watch TV and stuff."


Sony is getting HD streaming and archiving on Twitch as well as a bunch of other stuff in their next update though. This was announced weeks ago.

Sony is getting HD streaming and archiving on Twitch as well as a bunch of other stuff in their next update though. This was announced weeks ago.

This part is not true. Those features will come in a separate update later.

I'm most looking forward to being able to transfer my videos and pics to flash drive. Don't mind the Facebook upload, but I'm all for choices.

Hoping they add an "upload" choice when you hit the Options button on a screen or vid. As it is now, you can preview (for full screen) or delete. If they'd just add an Upload shortcut there, I wouldn't have to take a random menu screenshot every time I go to upload something.

Sorry but hmmmm, no. I for one could care less about all that multimedia garbage. To me, Xbox One is a more powerful version of 3DO. Trying to do everything yet cant do any one thing well.

I want to buy PS4 because of GAMES, not all of this other garbage. Great, if people like that but an extra $100 and some stupid Kinect garbage isnt going to get anyone to buy it if all they want is games.

Even if Microsoft announces a price drop, it wont matter. Even with PS4 sold out so many places, people still ARENT buying an Xbox One.

And this is with none of the major titles yet. Imagine once Uncharted 4, The Last of Us 2, God of War and others come out. Microsoft's exclusive games are garbage at least to me. Halo is nothing especially since its no longer developed by Bungie, Gears was awesome until Epic sold it to Microsoft and well, there's nothing else left.

Only Xbox One exclusive there is Quantum Break and thats at least another year away. Right now, PS4's Indie games are better than the majority of Xbox One games.

And to Microsoft, eliminate the Kinect garbage and get Rare back to what they used to be. Sadly, thats probably not going to happen.

In the end, if you want a multimedia gaming console where games are second priority, buy an Xbox One. If you want the opposite, buy a PS4.

I'm not disagreeing with anything else you're saying really, but I think Titanfall is getting a lot of deserving praise, and the Sony would love to have that game in their library.

This argument is so flawed though, its like saying "I want a cell phone that makes calls and nothing else, no apps or games, no GPS, no internet, only calls." Thats silly. The extra the Xbox One offers isnt garbage just like the extra the PS4 offers isnt garbage. They are both great consoles just unique in their own way. The PS4 with its raw power advantage and the Xbox One with its incredible software and multitasking abilities.

To me, just another generic FPS and what makes Titanfall worse is that there's no single player and the online game modes are limited to I think four or so. At least, thats what I have read. Dont get me wrong though, I think the mechs are cool but should should have been used in a more innovative IP than just another online FPS.

I seriously doubt that Sony cares about Titanfall. EA maybe does since its costing them money but through March 22nd, Infamous: Second Son (which I have no interest in whatsoever either) has sold 700,000 copies in five days worldwide excluding Japan. Titanfall has sold 1.11m copies in fourteen days excluding Japan. If you go by simple math and projections, in fifteen days, Infamous should surpass it by about a million copies.

Xbox One got a slight boost in hardware sales because its been packed in with the console and on sale for $450. Even that though isnt closing the gap. PS4 has a 2.6m+ lead and the reason why is simple, the console is directed more towards gamers as opposed to those who want entertainment media, the console is $100 cheaper, doesnt force Kinect on you and unlike Microsoft, Sony wasnt the company that tried to screw over all their loyal fans.

Last gen, I have both 360 and PS3 but my 360 will last longer than my PS3 but this generation, PS4 looks to be the superior console in regards to exclusives, second parties, new IPs and superior third party games. Add in Indies as a huge positive and like I said, if you're a gamer, PS4 is for you. If gaming is secondary to you, then Xbox One is for you.

This is why no generation will ever surpass the SNES/GEN. Open up the damn box, take out the cartridge, put it in the console, turn the power on and simply, just play.

Now, its updates, downloads, millions of screens, etc. installs, etc. on both consoles to where its like, okay, when do I get to play the damn game??? Both are bad in this regard but long term, PS4's future is a lot brighter than Xbox One's especially if they insist on pushing that Kinect garbage onto consumers that like me, dont want it at all.

Only negative for Sony that I dont like is that they're wasting millions on that VR garbage instead of using that money on new IP's and towards their second parties. Personally, like all add-on peripherals, I think that its going to flop. Once the novelty wares off, no one will care about it. Sony should just focus on games, games and games. Everything else should be secondary.

They do that, they'll dominate this generation because at the end of the day, us gamers just want one thing - games.

What can I say??? I'm old school. I want my GAMING console to play GAMES and its main focus be GAMES. Not if it can hook up my cable box or some crap to it which is the same damn thing as just turning it on and watching TV like normal.

Dont get me wrong, all of this extra crap on both consoles are to me, just that. If i want to watch a show online, I'll watch on my laptop, if I want to watch cable, I'll turn on my cable box, etc. I shouldnt need a console to do stuff that I can already do without it.

I do think that Xbox One will get better with the new guy in charge but at the same time, its all about stock holders and that so whether or not he's able to do what he wants remains to be seen.

And im not bashing Xbox One. Just dont think that for an extra $100 and forced Kinect, its worth buying over PS4.
