I'd say the missing youtube integration is the most glaring omission at the moment for the console with the dedicated share button. Think there's been unreasonable expectations of other things too leading to that perception, like @yosp's initial response about DLNA.

MS had already set expectations of regular updates not just with this gen but the evolution of the 360. That's never really been Sony's thing.

Straight to YT would be very convenient for me.

I only have a Chromebook right now and It would be nice to send videos straight to my YT account.

They announced YouTube integration during e3. Who knows when it will be implemented though. Hopefully you can upload in 1080p. If not I will stick with my elgato.

Same here.

Honestly, I would advise people to hold off on buying PSN titles on PS4 -- damn near all of them could end up free at some point if they insist on putting out two freebies a month.

Yeah, I've stopped buying digitally on the PS4 outside of retail games, and even stopped doing that for a bit after being disappointed w/ Infamous.

Not me. Thus far, I have only purchased Child of Light and Mercenary Kings since buying PS4 on Memorial Day weekend. PS+ is good but thus far, it seems like it's an Indie game thats three months or older or a psn game thats around six months old.

I dont play online and while the sales are good, PS4 wont be great until 2015 when the game library is deeper. Also, not sure if this has changed or not but if you can only keep the free games for as long as you're a PS+ member, then for someone like me, its not worth it.

As for buying new releases via digital instead of via disc is something that I will never ever do because I would be spending and possibly losing way too much money. For example, since im a GCU member at Best Buy, I get 20% off new sealed games so a $60 game like Watch Dogs would be $48 plus tax. Once im finished, I trade in the game to Best Buy. I received $44.80 for Watch Dogs so including tax and rounding up to $52.80, the game cost me $8.00.

And no, I didnt rush through it. Excluding online, mini games and those QR codes, I completed the entire game in around 50 hours or so. To me, buying new releases digitally is such a rip off in my opinion because once you finish the game, they hold no value except sentimental which back when I was a collector, I wanted the game 100% complete and either factory sealed or in mint/gem mint/pristine condition.

Not bashing anyone who buys digitally. I just dont see any value to doing so.
