This was mentioned in the Destiny thread, but I dont think it has been discussed here.

The PS4 has problems setting the color output based on the display it is connected to, so if you have something that displays a full spectrum (like a good modern TV or a pc monitor) having it set on "automatic" might not be setting it correctly.

So if you think your TV can handle it, try full in the display settings on the PS4. If your display can't handle full, you might see washed out whites and crushed blacks, so if it doesn't work you can set it back (there is no risk).

Note that setting your tv and PS4 to full won't be much different than having both at limited, but having mismatched settings will degrade picture quality. For minitors you definitely want full.

Yo first time ps owner as I've had a dreamcast, original xbox and 360. Anything I need to know to enhance gaming experience or any tips anyone has to offer? Enjoying the dualshock 4 as I feel it's an upgrade over the new xbox one controller. Thanks

Ebay, but the only sellers were in Japan so it took a while for them to get here....but not as long as the tracking said. They were around $4 including shipping.

Had i been smarter, there was one seller selling 10 pair for $14, i would have bought that and then become the only seller in the US and made $.

Drive Club will finally make it to PS+ next month. 17GB install.

PS+ subscribers still receive the usual 2 free games as well.

Does anyone know if sony will replace broken controllers ? I've had two of them that have had the right trigger stop working. Would like to get them replaced if they cover them.

Very easily. Minus being without a controller for a week and paying a few bucks on shipping. I recommend hitting up Sony's online chat, it's much easier than calling IMO.

Also if you bought any additional controllers separately from another retailer (that didn't come with the console), Sony will honor the1 warranty on those too. Just need proof of purchase.

^^^ I posted this the other day.

I bought a 4 pack of Geltabz from Gamestop after one of the joystick grips ripped. They were cheap and easy to get used to. Had them for 4-5 months now and no issues.

It's not the full version of the game, but it should give you an idea of whether it's worth your time or not to play the retail.
