I don't believe the server stuff at all. Fear of server overload has never stopped a game before, and DriveClub can't be selling that well.

They delayed the mobile apps too. I believe them, but they should have been taking about it yesterday. That's where it's obvious imo they didn't want to affect day 1 sales.

A simple "we're working on server issues that may delay the PS+ version of the game as well as the mobile apps, we will keep you updated. You can still enjoy the full version available now, but we are still working through online issues that affect the game." Would have gone a long way yesterday.

I'm not too upset over the PS+ Edition delay as the more I read about the game, the more it looks to be nothing special. So when I can download it, I'll download it. Until then it's whatever. Delays and this current generation of gaming go hand and hand. I've come to expect these sort of things.

Tell that to the people that purchased the game but can't play it because of server issues. They are having server issues. Nothing about fear. It's actually happening.

Can anybody sell me on getting the camera? What good is it? What does it do? Is it a "necessary" accessory?

I use it for Just Dance.

2 things worth to note.

1- I don't use a headset so if I'm in a party chat, the microphone on the camera works flawless for receiving and sending.

2- Share Factory / VR Studio. Not sure how much you will be using this but this feature will enhance your set up for your video shares if your going to use narrating. I believe you can also use special effects graphics with this too.

Also, as others have mentioned. Face scanning.

My boys use the ps3 camera and eye create to make stop motion videos of their legos. Does the ps4 camera do this too? Not that I plan on making stop motion videos of my action figures or anything.

I'm not familiar with the PS3 Eye, but the video editing is done through ShareFactory. The PS4 camera just helps enhance your experience.

Maybe flawless for you on your end but those things have zero noise canceling and pick up every game audio, ambulance drive by, wife complaint, kid scream, dog bark, or fart within a 100 feet. Pretty annoying for those of us on the other end of the mic/camera.

Does this work with the PS4? It's the original wireless headset sony came out with for the PS3 a while back. I'd hate to have to buy a new one when this one works great still.

Yea that works Chef. Basically, if a headset has its own usb dongle then it'll work. The ps4 Bluetooth stack just isn't compatible with all the generic phone headsets.

Glad to hear it. The ear padding is starting to tear on them but they still work incredibly well. Thanks for the info
