We all know the PS4 amazeballs update is coming tomorrow but I was happy to see this too:

Here’s a recap of some top features you can expect with Masamune in list form:

• Share Play: PlayStation 4 will create an online local co-op experience by allowing you to invite a friend to join your game — even when they don’t own a copy of it. PlayStation Plus membership is required for certain Share Play features.
• YouTube: Upload your gameplay highlights directly from PS4 to YouTube by clicking the “SHARE” button on DualShock 4. In addition, a YouTube app for PS4 will be available to download from the PlayStation Store.
• Themes & Colors: Personalize your home screen background with select themes and colors. Anyone know if the USB music player can be used for stadium sounds and whatnot? Has that been confirmed or denied anywhere? TIA.

Until those mp3's can be put on the hard drive I still think sounds of the show is out. That has not been confirmed or denied however as far as I know

The part of the music player that I'm interested in how it actually works. Does it override in game sounds and music? Does it play on top of?

Specifically Destiny. It doesn't have a music volume slider. I'd love to be able to silence it to hear in game sound effects better (chest/material node chimes). Wonder if the firmware will allow some kind of workaround for that.

LOL, this instantly reminded me of the old Kevin Butler PS ad... to answer your question, it hasn't been explicitly confirmed or denied yet. Hopefully some version of the feature will be worked out.

Anyone here play resogun still? I wanted the local coop trophy, but had no one to obtain that with. Hopefully share play doesn't have much input lag.

The part of the music player that I'm interested in how it actually works. Does it override in game sounds and music? Does it play on top of?

I doubt the USB player can change the game mix. Maybe Bungie will add the option now that their biggest platform going forward has the option for their own music.

You'd think it would happen seeing as how one of their bigger television ads has a guy putting in his own music (Led Zep I believe).

I have no confidence that it will work (the feature to let your buddy play for you) anywhere near flawlessly based on how laggy Remote Play is on the PS TV device even when using a hard-wired connection on your own network.

Yeah, agreed. A pleasant surprise. I watched the trailor before downloading and it looked great; lots of positive reviews as well. I'm thoroughly enjoy it.

remote playing from my Vita is damn near flawless though and both my PS4 and Vita are wireless.
