Not many people know this but there's a sound/chat button on the left front cup. If you press down on the button it makes the chat louder while pressing up makes the sound of the game louder. For the longest time I thought it was like a volume bar for chat but it isn't.

What cup are you referring to?

Anyone still having issues after the update? Work up this morning with my orange light blinking again. I'm seriously considering going over to the other side.

If you haven't already double check that 2.01 is installed on your system.

I has having the same rest mode issues a couple of days after the update before I realized that 2.01 had downloaded on my PS4 but did not install even though I was fairly certain I had pushed the button to install it. With 2.01 installed I haven't had any rest mode issues. And I always leave the disc in.

The sony gold work with both, but you need to buy the extra adapter on the xbox and you won't get enough bass when you use it on the xbox because the gold headset only allows bass boast when used wireless. Your best bet is going with the Astros A50. They're a bit pricey, but from what I hear they're the best.

I was considering that... I can get refurbished ones for like 200. However the gold headphones are 80 on Amazon and the extra adapter is 40. Decisions decisions.... What do you think? I guess the a50 is more functional

Damn, I'm gonna have to check this out. I had to turn down the sound and commentary in madden and nba 2k because I couldn't hear my friend in the party. I think that's what I've been doing wrong.

Anyone stream to twitch and all but the first 30 minutes of the archived broadcast are unusable? Just kinda stalls out and eventually skips to the end.

Word to the wise, you're not supposed to leave discs in consoles after you power them down.

I alrease on ever system I have had and even my DVD players alrease level the disk in and I have never heard that leving a disk in can cause problems and I don't know why it would.

Discs can get stuck In consoles. Happened to me with the Fallout 3 on PS3. Had to get it sent back. Never left a disc in again. Now I am fully digital so only discs that go in my ps4 are blu Ray movies.

Why would a disk get stuck when you have a disk in the system turned on but not when the system is turned off?

I think that has nothing to do with leving a disk in and was just bad luck.

I have the gold headset people say they can't hear me to well do u think these are good to hear footsteps in call of duty

I had some people tell me this but others tell me its fine. I think in my case, one group of friends have really loud mics and I find myself having to lower the chat volume playing with them. I would imagine the same goes for those telling me I sound quiet. They have to lower the chat volume to counter the booming mics of others which affects me in the end.

The main two things I want from PSN:

1. Notifications when friends sign on
2. A way to appear offline in case I am farming Destiny on my Vita.
