Yeah, I can't do anything because of the stupid maintenance message. Can't even logon to webbased to activate the system as my primary. Quite ridiculous. I think I'm not cut out for console gaming anymore. I just want to play games. I don't play online at all. I bought a new gaming laptop from Santa to myself, but I can't play Live since EA has decided to not bring it to PC.
PS4 has given me more errors and downtime than any console period. And that's the direction that gaming is headed unfortunately. I think I'm in a dying breed of gamers that only do the offline stuff.
My issue is that all of my games are digital, and I haven't activated this ps4 as my primary, so I can't play Anything. Sucks, as I don't have much time off of work.
Same here man. I think I'm going to go back to buying physical copies of games. Better deals and less trouble.
This seriously getting ****ing annoying on all levels.
I don't understand.
You mean to tell me a bunch of nerds in their moms basements over a cup of breast milk can honestly do this much harm!?!?
Epic fail on Sony's part.....I've had more problems with getting on PSN since the launch of PS4 then I ever had combined in my 36 years of life.
I logged on (finally) then played the only game that would let me (Destiny) for a few hours. I realized I didn't miss much after a few hours and voluntarily logged knowing I wouldn't be getting back in anytime soon.
I guess I'm a lot more laid back then the average gamer because the rage induced from this "hack" by kids in their mom's basement is comical to me. It's not a hack, no info is gained from a ddos. I also highly doubt it's a bunch of kids in a basement.
Where does the idea stem from that all cyber criminals are kids in basements anyway?
I don't care about the personal information part, I care about the fact that I have a day to myself (which doesn't happen ) that I just wanted to blow off steam and play games like when I was younger. Instead, I cant.
There's no rage from me, but it's aggravating that people decide to get their laughs from something so ignorant. I hope they're caught and made example of so nobody else decides to get their "fame" by copying this group.
Doesn't 2K have a game mode that can be played offline?
MyPlayer/My Career (which is a single player mode) requires a connection to 2k servers for you to use it once you start it. So if you're not online you can't play career mode. Which is why I've been playing The Show and WWE the past few days.
People have a right to complain. It's not as much about wanting something free as it is about wanting a product to work as planned. I'm chillin, but I feel for those that this is their only free time to play online.
Good thing I did my Madden franchise offline. I have been cruising through my season! I bought a couple online games but I'm not sweating it. When it comes back, I'll be able to play. No sense freaking out over online features when there's other games to be played, for myself.
