Any body swapped out the hdd to a 1 or 2 tb drive? If so any difficulties with it and any recommendations on which hdd to use?

@Drakknightrises - One of the first things I learned years back while getting my bachelors in IT was the industry rounding issue with hard disks. Google A+ certification books and it will be in there for you to confirm what everyone here is saying.

Have you cleared out previous upload notifications? I'm not at my PS4 now to check, but that's usually what holds me up.

This is true. I remember I had to do that as well. Not sure why this would cause issues or how it is tied into uploading but it does work deleting notifications to free up space.

Yeah everything is cleared. I keep getting an error message that says Cannot upload. I got a few to upload a few days ago.

I used this one http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Backup.../dp/B00FRHTTJE
It was a fairly easy process. Just remove the drive from the casing and then switch it out. The part that may be tricky is making sure you download the correct system software for the ps4, but it's not very difficult at all.

That's the one I bought. You have to remove the actual hard drive from the casing it comes in, but it's not difficult at all.

Think of it like buying a night light and putting the light in a small lamp. There's a laptop-caliber hard drive in the enclosure, not a proprietary piece of equipment.

Then use the enclosure to house your old ps4 drive. And if you have an xbox one like me it can be used to add 500gb externally to upgrade that system as well..

That's smart Odogg. Hadn't thought about double dipping on my storage like that. Might try that down the road.
