You're knocking the game for something that it never promised. Driveclub isn't marketed as a sim.

No I am knocking it because it has zero authenticity to it as they advertised below. I never said this was to be a sim game. I said it has zero sim factor in it which I feel throwing authentic around should at least provide some.

I have it downloaded and downloaded a bunch of cars. I'm still planning on playing it and possibly upgrading, but I still like having a sim in the library.

PC went out the window for me when they announced PC2 and I saw pk500's exchange with the company man.

PCARS 2 won't even be out for another 2 years, so there's no reason to hold off on it. If you have a problem with Ian Bell, that's one thing, I personally do not have a problem with him, but to knock the game for having another in the series coming out years from now is silly.

If you like sim racers and love the racing part, not the car collecting, then you need PCars.

Ian Bell seems like an ***hat so that obviously doesn't help. I still think announcing a sequel to a game that just came out barely 6 weeks ago is too early especially when there seems to be on-going problems with the current release.

And NY, I think you're reading way too much into "authentic."

If I am then tell them not to use the word then. I never said this is to be a sim game but it is not remotely Authentic in any way except there is a car with 4 wheels.

If you like arcade style racing then is all good but then advertise it as a arcade style game and not call it an authentic racer. That is all

They kind of have to announce the game if they want the funding for it. That's how the whole system works that they use for their games. I think most people knew a sequel would come, does announcing it really change anything? When they make Fallout 4 they're going to go right on to making Fallout 5. They won't announce it because they will be have the money to make it, but other than that it will be handled the same way PCars is and any other games with sequels. Though PCars still has just under half the team still working on it which is pretty impressive.

So Rocket League is the rumored free game of July. I was planning on getting it anyway and feel a little bad not giving the devs money. Lol.

If it's free no reason you guys shouldn't own, lol. One of my most anticipated games of the year.

My brother just gave me an SSD (850 evo, 1tb).

I was gonna plug it into my PC but I already have a 500 and a 1tb 840evo in there.

I know it won't make a huge difference but is there any downside to putting an SSD into my PS4?

No, but i don't think it's worth it. You're talking about seconds saved at game boot time and the rest depends on the game. I'd rather just have a third ssd in my computer.

I mean, since you already have it, you could just give it a shot. If you're not happy with it just take it out. Since it was given to you go nuts. I just wouldn't recommend it for someone to go out and buy at this point in time

Is anyone having issues with recording gameplay. I been double tapping share button to start the recording but nothing comes up.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the Xbox One button command. COMM you should either be pressing the SHARE button once, or holding it, depending on your share settings.



Edit: Sorry COMM, I read your post wrong. You are trying to manually start recording, which is double tap. I don't think there is a prompt tho.

Commands are tap to bring up menu, hold for screenshot (or swap those if you set it to easy screenshots), double tap to start recording.

Also to why it's not working for you, make sure you aren't hitting the button too fast or too slow.

It was different at launch right? I was used to that, and then they changed it and I tend to mess it up whenever I rarely attempt to save anything.
