If you play online then PS+ is recommended but if you're an off-line gamer, I recommend spending $30 on Best Buy's Gamers Club Unlocked for two years. You get 20% off all new sealed games and 10% off pre-owned games. You also get 10% bonus when trading in games.





You could get Madden for $48 plus tax and if you pre-order the game, you'll get a $10 reward certificate two weeks after you pick up the game. This would also be the same for Mad Max, MGS V, AC Syndicate, Fallout 4, etc. You'll save a lot of money. If it wasn't for GCU, I wouldn't buy some games simply because it wouldn't be worth it just to try them out but with GCU, I'll buy more games on release day simply because even if I don't like the game or don't want to play it, I'll trade it in to Best Buy and use the credit towards another game.





Obviously, it's up to you and simply comes down to if you play online or not. If you don't and if there's a really good sale on PSN that requires you to be a PS+ member, you could always just sign up for a month ($10) and still purchase the game that's on sale.

Thanks for the answer. I do play some games online (fighting games, some sports games), but to be honest, the only game i can't play offline is Street Fighter (but it only comes out in march). PS+ will be good deal for me because i still play on my ps3, and sometimes they "give" some games i like.



Unfortunately i can't go with the Best Buy option cause i live in Brazil.



I'm leaning towards the PS+ subscription. I could also pre-order other game i want (Sword Coast Legends, and it is cheaper than Madden), but it doesn't have a release date yet (it's scheduled to be out in 2015), but PS+ seems like the best option right now.

What do you mean by this? I'm at work right now and can't check.

I'm assuming that he means it usually turns out to be more unstable than stable. I always wait a week or two before downloading and installing the system updates because just like with patches, you never know what they're going to affect until it happens.

Hahaha sadly this is so true. Hopefully they come out with a feature infused patch soon enough.

Just got the Ben Q monitor for console gaming for $250 and this monitor does not have the black crush issue that the beauty curve samsung model has and the response and input lag are about as non existent as you can get.



Noticed it real quick in COD as aiming down on enemies was easy and my KD improved in 3 matches each time.



The issue isthe PQ of the monitor leaves a lot to be desired. Colors and contrast seem a bit off...Also sharpness and clarity of the image does not match Samsung even though both are 1080p



I have been tweaking the picture settings and have made it much better but nothing like the samsung...Not sure what I should do

Return it. That's the same problem I had when I bought the Asus and just went back to playing on my 50 inch plasma. It may be tough, but if you want a good quality monitor you might have to spend at least $400 or more imo.

I had a few months ago the Asus 2K monitor which is 1440p

It had pre pro calibration already set and it is a $450 monitor

It was great but the 450 price tag was not worth it for console as a 1080p monitor was giving me sharper clarity over 2K which upset me

I know ps4 or xbox max at 1080p but I figured the 2K would make the graphics as good or a bit better on 1080p consoles and it did not

The input lag and response time is so damm good on the benq that it would be hard to play on 65 4k tv

From what I understand the main selling point of the BenQ is the low response time. This is especially helpful in competitive games like first person shooters. I don't think its main goal is to have the sharpest picture.

BTW: I have the RL2455HM and love it.

Yea I get that and knew that but the picture is not good at all. Colors are terrible and games clarity even if both the curved samsung and ben q are 1080p the games on ps4 look sharper on the samsung with both beig 27 inches and 1080p

No the main selling point of BenQ is their monitors are cheaper then Dell and Asus for the same quality. The BL and XL series are awesome. RL series is entry level.

My benq xl2720z is awesome. Image quality I give a high 7 or low 8, everything else is a 10. Amazing performance. Love playing my ps4 on it, def has made a difference in online games

I'm just saying the majority of people that buy BenQ monitors are more into competitive games. They advertise the low response time of the RL2455HM over the picture quality.

Edit: I am referring to the RL series mostly.

Tomb Raider for PS4 confirmed for fall 2016. PC is early 2016 and the already announced Xbox One release is this November.
