So I got a second ps4 for the living room and I also bought a seagate 1tb SSHD at the same time and got home and popped that bad boy right in and installed the firmware from the usb and all worked like it should

I stated to download games and when the Witcher 3 installed I started to play it and the console started making a humming sound and after I finished playing i played madden 16 with no sound and all smooth.

About a few hours later I started witcher 3 again and instead of starting the whole console shut off by itself and when i started it again from the console not from controller it started taking me through the whole new console set up. I was afraid it wiped everything I had installed all day and when I logged in with my psn account i saw all my games were still there and some still installing. Has worked fine from there but i also got the message that the console was shut off in an unproper fashion which was never the case.

You guys think I should return ps4 just bought today or maybe is the hard drive

Swap out the hard drive and check that first and see what happens. If the same thing happens, it's most likely the console. If not, it's most likely the SSHD.

Hi guys

Does Sony make a ps4 charging cable? I have seen some off brands but haven't seen a Sony one. I know you use to be able to buy a PS3 controller and charging cable pack but don't know if anything like that is available for the ps4.

A PS3 charging cable won't work with a ps4 controller will it

Any USB cable with the appropriate end should be fine.

The PU? Are they stupid or something?

Then again, the Wii never really seemed to be that big of a deal.

I'm weary of how much this will cost, though. Over $300 and you can say sayonara for many-a-folk, myself included.

Interesting. The Sony CES Press Conference is scheduled January 5th, 5pm PST at Las Vegas. We may finally get the answer we're all waiting for and even play some games too. You could be our "eye in the sky" that day.

I'll dance the jig if it's $300. I fear it may cost more. Either way, I have some games I'm looking forward into playing in VR in 2016.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of what this technology really brings to the table. Aa of right now I don't see myself making the jump/early adopting right away

They are calling it a new console launch, it will be $400+ imo.

I won't make it to CES this year unfortunately

I'm still predicting the price, official release date and launch lineup at E3 with it being released in September for $300. Also, No Man's Sky will be PSVR compatible which to me should be a no brainer. Using E3 to fully detail the PSVR and showcase the launch lineup is in my opinion the best move since the launch would only be a few months away after E3.

A big giant yawn with VR. It's going to fail miserably. Sony needs to focus on games not this useless tech.

VR is going to be a semi financially successful tech, but a massive failure on the gaming front.
