Where are you guys seeing the yellow message on the launch edition page? I ordered mine immediately after it was available also, but have not seen the box.

Its at the top of the page and you have to be logged in to Amazon to see it,.

Exactly because there wasnt a launch or standard edition when you purchased it. You bought the launch version though.

Watch, my receipt SAYS Launch Edition, and is actually standard edition and everyone else who thought they got screwed will get it at launch.

GT is a PS3 game. Not on PS4 not for a while at least.

I just assumed it was going to be on PS4. Reading up on it, looks like a PS4 release is planned, but not immediately.

I called 2 different amazon reps and got the same answer. If the yellow bar is at the top Launch edition and your order doesn't state it, it's because you ordered before they set up a second wave. But you will have it on release date (as long as its a weekday). Crisis adverted.

I could be wrong, but I believe CoD probably comes out that day for 360/PS3 so they may have just put that there instead of Dec 31st. It's gonna be in November most likely anyways, the earlier the better for me considering finals.

Yes, that is correct. Polyphony Digital likes to take their time to perfect their games. I doubt we will see GT 7 for a few years on PS4.

That's interesting...

Someone brought to my attention Amazon had the price of the PS4 listed 30 minutes before it was announced. This could be a good sign.
