Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Hey guys
I have a question about inserting discs.
Sometimes it feels like I need to use a little pressure to put the disc in and other times it just seems to grab it. Is that normal. On my old PS3 I never ran into issues with the disc grabbing and as I recall sometimes it was the same way, some discs needed a little more pressure.
I guess just being new to the ps4 I notice things a bit more, plus didn't get much time with it over the holidays with work. I took a couple days off and got too play it today for a disgusting amount of time, lol after I did the house work of course.
I think as its at the bottom of my tv stand I might be putting the disc in sometimes at a odd angle when I bend down to swap out discs. Back to work tomorrow so it will be a few days before I get to binge gameLast edited by JeremyB; 01-05-2016, 08:09 PM.Comment

Mine feels like it does not grab as solid as my PS3 did. There are a couple drives they use and I know one of them acts that way.Hey guys

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Whoa, that is pretty hefty. Also, if im not mistaken, you would need a pretty decent pc to run with the Oculus rift. There is the cost of that to factor in as well.
Hope the PS VR is not priced that high.Last edited by ckarlic; 01-06-2016, 03:06 PM.PSN: ckarlic

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
$600 is insane for OR and you need a high end PC which increases that amount for those who don't already have a PC that's capable at running that.
Sony is at CES and didn't announce anything in regards to price and release date. While I personally am hoping that all VR bombs and dies out quickly, I still see Sony waiting until E3 to announce the price, release date and launch titles. My guess is $300, September release and No Man's Sky being the "big" title to launch the same day.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Just curious.. Does anybody actually want VR? I simply have no desire to wear that unit on my head to game. Not to mention the pricepoint to entry. No thanks. I'm PLENTY happy with my PS4.PSN: jaydazzle

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Don't see how $300 is possible when they're basically shipping a small console with the thing. They have to expect it to be niche enough to not take a multi-$100 loss on it.
At least $399 and most of us will need to also buy move controllers and a camera, and $650-$699 for HTC's Vive imo.

PlayStation 4 Discussion
Not something I plan to purchase anytime soon. I honestly do not even now if it is something that will ever be on my radar. That does not mean I want it to fail like some do. If VR can exist without tampering with how I enjoy games now than, cool. I hope it sticks around for those who want to use the tech. Maybe I will even give it a try sometime in the future. But if VR has any kind of effect on traditional gaming than that **** has gotta go.Comment
