Finally were getting incognito mode and online notifications.

Folders next please, and I'd love to be able to add nicknames to friends so I could label and rename all the OS on my list.

I also miss the short blurb or comment we could put next to our names on PS3. It's useful for so much from status like "Downloading, AFK", inside jokes from last night's session, or like a running advertisement asking if anyone was up for a certain game that night.

LOL, well guess my hands are clean because mines still white after a year. I do wash my hands constantly though, I can't stand dirty hands.

This is cool, however I only really want to be notified when certain people sign on or off or if someone is playing what I am. And the ability to turn off the so and so joined a party notification separately, that annoys me to no end.

Incognito mode is great though.

I believe that's what being added is when they sign on & off like on ps3 only now we have the option to trun it off it needed

Plus the invisible feature is back as well!!

Question: I asked a few weeks ago about stand-by versus shutting down completely. Now I ask, do you close out all your running applications (games, Netflix, music) before putting in stand-by?

I have been, but accidentally went right to stand-by before closing out NHL 16 yesterday. I must say, it's damn nice to avoid all the loading the game and season files.

Thoughts?

I always just close out of each application before putting into Stand-By...

I usually close out each application when done using it, I think I'm just old school where keeping things running in background would slow down your PC lol

I keep all applications running. That suspend feature for games is nice. Its also nice hopping into Amazon right where I left off.

I think I'm gonna give it a try. I'm with h8ter2 in that I'm "old school" with my electronics and keeping them running as little as possible but it's different tech now. Even on iPhone I heard that exiting out of apps fully doesn't affect performance like I've read before.

Similar to my stand-by/power off routine, I'll mix it up. Stand-by for a few days, then give it a full power off. Keep apps suspended for a few days, cancel out every now and then.

I mean if my PS4 kicks the bucket in 3 years, or whatever, I won't know exactly what caused it anyway. I treated 2 different PS3's damn well and they failed on me anyway so I think it's just in my head. In the mean time, the convenience of jumping right in to a game is awesome so why not take advantage of it?
