Gonna buy a ps4 at some point. Mainly for single player experiences. It's what I did last gen (360 for multiplayer, PS3 for single player)

Should I wait ya think? Money isn't really an issue right now, but if these rumors are true of this dumb ps4.5 then I'm thinking I should wait

I would say wait for E3 because mostly that is were we would hear about this if the whole 4.5 4k thing is true and if it is there may be a price cut on the correct ps4 as well.

I just hope it will be bug free... I still remember those buggy sysups from the past, when consoles couldn't read discs, discs being stuck, automatic shutdowns...

Money isn't an issue so why wait? When the PS4K comes out you can either sell/trade it or have two PS4's.

That's my mentality.... I don't like to deprive myself if I don't have to.

I downloaded the PS4 app for remote play to my laptop running Windows 10. The install didn't find my PS4 so I had to manually go to it and go to remote play, get a code and then it found it no problem.

I fired it up and went into Far Cry Primal. It wasn't smooth at all. I decided to reboot my laptop. Rebooted and shut down all my streaming crap (streaming music, youtube, etc) and then once I got booted back up did a speedtest.

38m down and 5m up on my wireless.

Retried the app and FarCry Primal ran like butter. Played for about 20 minutes and completed a side mission without any issues at all, no lag that I could see (although I know some people may be more sensitive to lag my grandpa like eyes couldn't detect any).

This is an awesome addition to the PS4!!

Sadly, I won't be home tonight for like, another twelve hours.

I'll still need my Vita for Remote Play on the toilet, but when it comes to possibly fancier hardwre acceleration and use of an actual controller, this might hit the sweet spot for me. Too bad my laptop screen isn't OLED like my Vita screen is, though.

Understood. But just because money isn't an issue doesn't mean I want to spend it all willy nilly with what might happen to be a newer better system coming out. That's all. I don't even want a new and improved one, I'll save a couple bucks to take a "slower" ps4

Yeah Odogg, remote play is very cool.

This update is great.

My download speeds seem improved as well, as if they eased up the throttle

when you first go to the sign on app on the pc there is a a settings button on the left

Thanks man! That makes it look much better at 720p. A hitch every now and then but seems to run well. I tried HIGH frames though and that made it too jumpy. This is really nice.

As for yours crashing, did you reboot?

It is good to have the usb music player app back with the latest update. I can go in and out of the app quickly without having to suspend the game like with the spotify app.

I never even knew it went away! You don't have to suspend the game with Spotify, control it with your phone. That's what I do.

I was just trying it out. My stuff is all hardwired too... so after a few crashes I just left it

Your PC, did you see what I posted when I tried it, although the APP did work it was so lagged it wasn't playable..I rebooted my laptop and it worked great.
