Easily one of the prettiest games this gen. It's also an extremely refreshing change of pace.

I haven't gotten ratchet and clank yet was sold out at bestbuy but ratchet and clank is my favorite sony franchise. I don't know if it has gotten to the point were it takes me more to be impressed by graphics or what but so far the only ps4 games that have blown me away graphics wise are NBA 2k, NHL, Drive clube, batman arkham knight. I fell like just about ever other game looks like just a little improvement from what we got on ps3.

My PS4 started to triple beep randomly again...



I rebuilt the database, but the funny thing is that the console started to triple beep like crazy while it was rebuilding, and i had to restart the console once the process was finished.



Now I'm playing mlb 15 (digital) and it triple beeped again.



I don't know, but could this be related to the internet connection? My connection has been problematic for the last week, and i use wi-fi.

A quick Google says a triple beep is telling you the console didn't close an app properly and had to force close it.

Solution as found via the same Google

"Turn off the PS4. Unplug from the rear.

Now, press the power button on the front of the console (top button) and you will hear it beep. Keep pressing it until it stops beeping. Now plug it back in and turn it on. Should be fixed now."

Yeah i know that.



But i turned it off, unplugged it, waited a few minutes and turned it on, on safe mode. It wasn't running any other application, just the OS.



It triple beeped like non-stop while rebuilding.

Ok, but those instructions don't say anything about entering safe mode or rebuilding the database.

And to answer the initial question, no your internet connection shouldn't have anything to do with your console beeping while rebuilding the database.

I was playing project cars a few minutes ago, and the console started to beep again and again... I closed the application, and the console started to make a strange mechanical noise. It sounds like the HDD, its really strange. It only stopped when i turned the console off.



I think my unit is dying

Do you have a spare 2.5" drive lying around? Just swap it in and see if the problem goes away. Drive could be failing. Fortunately, it's an easy fix.

Unfortunately, i don't have one. The jet fan noise, these beeps, and now this strange noise... I just hope my PS4 lasts until July, cause before that, i won't be able to buy another one.

The documents obtained by the publication suggest that Sony has no intention of splitting its user base with the NEO, and both consoles will share the same store and interface. There will also be no NEO-only games, nor will NEO users be offered any exclusive unlockables or gameplay options...aside from running a superior version of the game, that is.

Meh, depending on the trade in offers, I may still trade in my current couple year old PS4 for one of these Neo versions. If anything the slightly better hardware will help the games run a little smoother. Maybe they'll include a larger hard drive in it and go to a SSD.
