Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Other than these two instances recently, PSN has been pretty damned rock solid in 2016.
Live has struggled more, especially in the first two months this year where there was an almosst week long affair I recall with one event. DNS attacks are a bitch, for any online service. And nothing is impervious to them.
I wish people would stop being scum bags who do this, but that will never happen, lol.

I think there's like 130+ (could be more) missions available in STO. Yea it's def an mmo in the vein of Neverwinter/ESO/EQ/WoW/DCUO etc.
Can't wait to see what their "classes" are in the Star Trek universe.Comment

PlayStation 4 Discussion
We have to stop giving Sony excuses and turning the other cheek for having such a terrible online service; that is inexplicably going up in price. Tired of these guys.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
It can be played like 99% co-op, there are only a half dozen missions that are solo.
As for the game itself, I like it all the way up to endgame stuff, then I took a hard pass. I enjoyed the story, but I am a Star Trek fan. There's a couple hundred hours of content in the game, they aren't all winners but most of what I played was good.
As for the free to play vs paying, depends on what you are looking for. If you want to PvP, you'll be paying, no doubt. You can grind out resources and join a guild (fleet), but none of that interested me. You can easily play just the couple hundred hours of story missions and not spend a dime, it gets a little disappointing when you get to the last free ship upgrade, but it's completely not worth grinding for a new one or paying like $30 for one. Forget that.Comment
