How does anyone know the Scorpio will be more powerful than the Pro? In what regard? The PS4 is already more powerful than the XB1 so saying the Scorpio will be 5x more powerful than the XB1 is fine, but saying the Pro will be 2x as powerful as the standard PS4 doesn't mean it will be worse than the Scorpio. I get horrible frame drops in some XB1 games that I never see on PS4.

Sony has the Pro at 4.2TF, Scorpio is to be 6+.

It's an 8 core AMD APU with 320 GB/S bandwidth according to wiki, I'm not sure what's in the Pro.

We know it's gonna be more powerful because they said it was, then they saw Pro yesterday, and were so confident that they reiterated they were gonna be most powerful again next holiday.

I could care less about a uhd as if im watching movies im streaming.

Streaming 4K content is not native and just a step above 1080p and not as good as 1080p blu ray devices

4K UHD native player movie would blow the doors out of same movie streaming in 4K netflix.

If you spend a good chunk of money on a 4K tv with HDR those folks will want to get the most out of their money. UHD player is huge for the casual gamer who wants to max out his 4K tv capabilities. THE PRO does not do that

the hardcore sony fanbase has already gotten a ps4 so the AVR and casual spectrum fans are to follow and for the casual fan the slim would do fine even if it removes the optical and 4K tv purchases are not getting a console with the Pro that maximizes their purchase. It might be a better purchase for those with 1080p tv's

MS would not boast the most powerful console ever if they did not have something that would blow away the field.

over 6tf compared to Pro 4.2tfl

In the ps4 vs xb1 tflop race it was 1.8 to 1.3 and you saw the diff in resolution and FPS

You sure about that? I've seen some streamed 4K videos that are gorgeous and clearly better than a 1080p blu ray disc. Obviously a 4K disc is the pinnacle but I think the future of movie watching is over the internet. Disc rental stores are near death if they even still exist around you. The only way to rent 4K movies in the future will be through streaming. Digital is taking over and if your speed is good I don't think it will be as bad as you think. Of course people are going to need at least 18-25 mbs speeds to take advantage of 4K.

That said, I think it was a bad decision for Sony not to include a 4K player. There wasn't that much extra cost and I'd love to see what a 4K disc can do.

Yea am 100% sure that you will not get 4K streaming that will match a real 4K movie. Now keep in mind that not all 4K UHD movies are native 4K...You gotta do research there before buying a movie. Most are 2K upscaled to 4K by the device it plays on.

I have 4K netflix on my Samsung 4K tv and on the Slim and neither comes close to UHD movie playback.

I even prefer 1080p blu ray playback over 4K streaming...As do most

Wonder if they will have any pro/psvr bundles soon. Was thinking about going to gamestop to order a pro today but having not preordered a psvr was thinking they might make more available in a bundle to push the pro.
