Digital Foundry claims that the bandwith speed in SATA2 on the ps4 vanilla is like 20mb which is low and causes the issue with SSD not performing good and SATA3 being on the PRO is not going to change speeds much because the same bandwith is used on the PRO

They claim they will test but don't get your hopes up for SATA3 speed with SSD

They talk about it 7:10 of this video.

It is all speculation, at this point it sounded like they hadn't even run any tests yet on the PRO and were just going off of regular PS4 tests done in the past

I just got back from GS and while I was there I found out that my GS is doing a midnight release for the Pro. Pretty cool.

Good to hear. I will stop by my local gamestop this weekend as well and ask. I asked yesterday and they were uncertain. Looking forward to the Pro!!

For the Vue guys... I got a notification that you can use your PC and Mac to watch Vue now.

Going to see how if i can stream to my chromecast from my pc or laptop

Also, while I was over there looking for this info I saw that Nioh has outlined it's its Pro Mode. Looks like there is a 1080p 30fps, max graphics mode and a 1080p normal graphics/60 fps mode

Hell yes. Music to my ears.

I really hope they patch Bloodborne to do the same but I doubt it.

ks has tons of model numbers. I seen only a few complain about the ks8000 including myself with motion blur but i take motion blur which was minor over input lag being high

the ks8500 and up have no motion blur issues which is why I changed and input lag is the best of any hdtv

Sony makes great sets but input lag not even close to the levels of samsung ks models

you trust rtings? well read input lag on the samsung vs any other models

I know the site, I was just stating that since you are telling me you trust them then read the reviews on gaming big screen tvs which has Samsung as tops due to the low input lag in HDR and standard game mode.

Get the KS8500 and you will be blow away

I'm looking to buy a PS4 but I won't be upgrading to a 4k TV before 2018. I currently just have a PS3.

Should I get the Pro? Would it be worth it to pay an extra $150-200 for the Pro over the regular PS4. (Including taxes I can get the PS4 for $237 now and the pro would be $436.)

I would say if it's in the budget, go ahead and grab a Pro. That way you don't end up needing/wanting to upgrade in another year or two.

Caved. Paid off pre-order from Amazon. Look forward to seeing what this thing looks like on my Samsung Curve 4K

As JohnDoe above me stated, if it's in the budget, go for the Pro and you won't potentially want to upgrade again in 2018. It's the same price as the PS4 was 6 months ago. If you look at it that way, it's a no brainer.
