Found out a nice little extra via Best Buy involving E-Gift cards. If you buy a $150 E-Gift Card between 11/6 to 11/19, you'll get a $15 savings code in December. The limit is three.

I purchased three E-Gift cards for $150 each in separate transactions and then used those cards to pay for the PS4 Pro. I have about $14 left on the last E-Gift Card that I used and will be getting back $45 in December.

So for anyone who's buying a PS4 Pro (or anything in general) that's $150 or more, you can get $15 per each $150 spent with a maximum of three E-Gift cards.

What is E-Gift cards? Is that like a normal Gift card? Can be used on any thing? So are you saying you bought 3 of them for 150 each so 450 after buying the 3 and then you get 45 back in December so that its like you are getting 495 in value even though you only spent 450?

Just got home with my Pro and Dishonored 2 collectors edition (couldn't resist)

Gonna begin the setup and get D2 installed so the 9 gig patch downloads asap

I like the feel of the system. I don't think its too big or too heavy. It's sturdy, I like that.

Replacing the hard drive is as simple as ever. Sony has done a great job with this on vanilla, Slim, and Pro.

Stock hard drive on mine is an HGST (same brand as came with my Vanilla PS4) 5400 RPM drive.

Pro carries over the "upside down" insertion method, same as Slim, so SSDs need to be "suspended in mid-air" to be securely fastened in the sleeve.

So what game are you 2 going to play first on the pro? Also with this weekend being a holiday weekend do you think there will be any sales on 4k TV at like best buy or any thing?

Now that I've set it down on my gaming deak I can see the size of the Pro in comparison to the slim and vanilla before it. It's large and in charge for sure

I'm gonna install a bunch of games first to get patches and DLC downloaded and go with whatever is finished first

Oh ok yeah it can take a while to download ever thing but I didn't know if you where going to let ever thing finish downloading before you started playing ever thing. How many games do you have to install on pro?

For PRO Mode games I have 8 on disc and 4 bought digitally on PSN. I worded my last post incorrectly. Dishonored 2 patch is almost done downloading and after that I am gonna do TF2 and CoD:IW and then start playing. I will worry about the rest later.

Oh ok so 12 games. I think I have about 12 games to all disk and my hard drive is at about 28 GB now. So I am going to need to get a 2 TB hard drive soon.

Can you check in the share settings to see what video settings there are? I'm looking for a 60fps option even if it's at 720p. I read somewhere it might be in there. Thanks. If you don't have time I'll b ed getting mine in the morning.

I see where it lets me choose resolution but no option for FPS

My hunch remains its 30 for saved video on ps4 and 60 for streaming
