No official word from DICE but I found this for those who play BF1.

Get the Target Wish List app on your phone, add the PS4 Pro to the wish list, and it will generate a 10% coupon. An additional 5% with Target red card (debit card you can sign up for at checkout). $340+tax for the PS4 Pro.

          Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion

I think a factor in whether or not people will enjoy their Pro can also be looked at from a "are you a PC guy" view (mostly talking about 1080p here as 4k guys will probably notice large leaps in EVERY game, unlike 1080p guys where it varies so much)

I prefer consoles for any game multiplayer related, and the last year or so my focus has shifted to multiplayer games so I have been on my console more than PC. That being said, I am a "PC guy" for the most part and I am used to hunting for FPS and tweaking individual graphics sliders for the best tweaks for performance everywhere. For a console only player, this won't feel like going from PS2 to PS3, or Xbox to Xbox 360. It isn't a new generation. It is like upgrading your graphics card on your PC. Going from medium to high or high to ultra (again strictly talking 1080p) depending on the game

Some early thoughts from my morning play session:

          inFamous:

Offers an "enhanced resolution" mode and "enhanced frame rate"

With enhanced resolution I noticed a slightly sharper picture and some improved shadows/lighting but honestly it felt pretty minimal. The frame rate boost felt great though. After going back and forth a lot for awhile I would probably opt for the frame rate mode in this one. I streamed at 1080p 30fps to see if it was smoother than my 60fps stream from last night and it still has a lot of compression going on. Nowhere near as smooth as the other Pro 1080 streams I watched leading up to launch. I think my internet just isn't strong enough but I am going to call Comcast today and figure out why my upload speeds have been struggling so much lately. I will also try Twitch next time instead of YT to see if that makes any sort of difference for me

          <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/U8b99qhunGw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

          Paragon:

Big difference on the Pro. Game looks and feels almost identical to as it does on my PC. I run it on mostly high settings with some ultra on my PC. Frame rate is super smooth and difference in picture quality is substantial over vanilla PS4. Please ignore how awful I am in this vid. Never used this hero before, my go-to was picked a couple rounds ahead of my turn

          <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZqHAcdIi3fc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I have a lot of screens to share too but I will just wait till later and do it all at once.

          Going to BF1 next

Honestly bummed by my poor streaming performance. I pay way too much for this comcast account to not be able to pull off smooth 1080p 60 streams. This is a me problem, not a Pro problem

The dashboard looks super sharp and crispy in 4K native...It is so sharp that the thumbnails for the games look a bit blurry due to them being 1080p

Set mine up before leaving for work this morning and started the download process of my games. I must say, once I booted up my PS4 Pro seeing 3840 × 2160 (4k) in the upper right corner of my screen when in the dashboard brought a tear to my eye

Can't wait to try some pro patched games later on tonight.

Any of you know anything about the 1080p share play? Do both parties need a ps4 pro to use 1080p or just the host?

Leaving for lunch in about 30 minutes ... my Pro is waiting for me at BB. Going to pick it up and take the afternoon off to re-install everything.

I do hope the framerate is alot more stable for the larger player modes because it does get pretty choppy. Is there a pro patch for it now or will that come later? I'm still on the fence getting the PS4 Pro but if framerate is significantly improved then I'll cave. I don't own a 4k tv so I want to wait & see how it is fairing on 1080p tv's.
