Just got my Pro.

Very happy there is a way to transfer all data to my new system instead of having to re-install everything and redo Sounds of the Show for MLB16 and option files for PES.

Only game I've played is FIFA 17 and I am not that impressed. It's in native 4K but doesn't look all that much better than 1080p. Really wished they added HDR or added better lighting and detail instead of prioritizing 4k resolution.

Does Titanfall 2 not display in HDR? I was wondering why I didn't get the message in the upper left hand side of my TV stating an HDR video was playing.

I tried Infamous first light and what do you know the HDR notification popped up.

Hoping to see more games incorporate HDR.

If you have an LG 4K TV and you can't get a picture with the Pro, do the following:

1. Turn off the PS4.
2. Turn it on with the button on the front of the console and hold the button down for 7 seconds to bring up the System menu (the PS4 will beep).
3. At the System menu, change the HDCP setting (Option 8) from Automatic to 1.4.

The console will reboot and you should be good to go.

Yeah it sucks. Really wish more games had HDR support but it's mostly just the Sony 1st party titles.

Review of my first 7 hours with the Pro

I tried posting all my screens at the bottom of the blog but it wouldn't work, there were too many, and splitting them up in different blogs just wasn't working.

Just spent a small amount of time in BF1. at 1080p the picture is a bit crisper and frame rate seemed a good deal smoother in conquest

Super early impressions as I install games:

• I freaked out a bit when I couldn't get a picture, but fortunately I figured it out.
• I like the look of the Pro over the launch console. I was never a fan of that glossy piece.
• Swapping out the HD was easy, though I was worried I'd break that back piece.
• Other than the disc spinning, mine's been whisper quiet so far. All I've really done is download updates, but the launch console made a tiny bit of noise doing that. Haven't heard a thing with the Pro.
• Haven't actually been able to play anything yet. That comes tonight.

UC4 gets a pretty solid boost at 1080p. More detail. Im actually surprised I wasnt expecting that

Yes sir I did . Walked home with it last night with the Pro

Haven't played it yet as I keep getting sidetracked by uploading pics and vids and peeking in on other games

I haven't eaten yet today gonna go grab pizza, when I get back I will stream Dishonored 2 and grab a bunch of screens

It has the Pro Enhancement sticker on the box so we will see what it brings to the table

I have a 4K set and Uncharted looks basically the same as vanilla ps4 but the HDR on the Pro for Uncharted looks a million times better then ps4 hdr which is suspect to me

Wasn't HDR on the vanilla PS4 not true HDR because it doesn't use HDMI 2.0, which is required for 10 bit colour? Thought I read that somewhere...
