setting mine up now. The only game I have that is patched is NBA. Unless Fifa has it built it? Those are the only 2 I have on the lists floating around.

If a game is not patched you will not get any differences from what all other ps4 vanilla owners have. I suck at 2k and always have but it's sounding like I need to pick this game up

Is not a burst your bubble thing. These are known facts that Sony said and DF said. That is why many are not going to upgrade with 1080p sets because not everybody is into Shiny new toys....They dont want to waste their money for sorta improved graphics at 1080p

4k HDR is what will make most want to upgrade....These are facts...Look at the reviews

if you are planning on getting a 4K set then is a good purchase but if you are just fine with 1080p and have no plans to get into 4K tv for a long time then to me is not something I am going to go sell my vanilla ps4 and pay half the price of the pro to get maybe a slight bump....

Damn, BF1 on my Samsung 4K HDR set looks stunning to me. I must have said wow five or six times after starting my first match up.

If this thing had a 4K player, I probably would have bought it now just to start my transition into 4K media early, and then get the 4K television set later down the line when needed.

Of course, nothing is stopping me from getting those 4K discs now... just depends on what the future is for us. They're already talking about 8K if you can believe that.

I'd say it'a worth it. TF2 and COD both look great and BF1 MP is a lot better than I expected it to look and it is silky smooth online.

Well I went and bought a 4k hdr TV this afternoon after buying ps4 pro this morning. It's not the greatest but it let's me get my feet wet. I swore I was sticking to 1080p as well. The price was right though.

Just played through the first chapter of Uncharted. Wow. I don't remember it looking this good! I know it's running at around 1440p but it looks 2160 to me. The other thing that really struck me was how responsive the controls feel. I don't recall them ever feeling this nice.

Another beautiful game.

On the negative, the system was rather loud when running this game. I didn't notice it all playing NBA 2K17.

Way more than "kinda sorta upgraded " graphics. I'm getting tired of that agenda and that rhetoric . Don't let that person sway you, talk to people actually gaming at 1080p or better yet go see for yourself at a display case somewhere . Not sure why someone who hasn't played the Pro on a good 1080p display claims to know so much about it anyway

Don't let misinformation fool you . If someone's whole basis behind their post is "go read reviews " then something is shaky. Especially when I've already posted numerous reviews that mention 1080p improvements .

I don't feel the Pro is a necessary upgrade for 1080p owners right now, but it's a really nice boost for those who don't mind spending the money and should continue to improve as time goes on on

Right now playing Titanfall 2 on the Pro at 1080p is the definitive 1080p console gaming experience currently available . What that's worth just depends on the consumer. That kind of substantislly improved experience might not be worth it to a lot of people, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist

No need to libel the 1080p Pro experience just because you have a 4k TV

Yeah there's no real way around this

If people thought that the launch systems were loud they will think the Pro is loud. Not all the time, but some games make those fans kick in and you'll hear it

Not an issue for me but I know it matters to a good portion of people

BF1 is going to give people war nightmares it looks so real in HDR wow

As far as NBA2K17 the best description would be as if I was sitting in the arena holding a controller in my hand moving the real life players around, lol

Only 2 games I've played so far, other note NBA2k17 runs the fan load but that's been norm for that series

I can't wait for The Show 17 to come out for this thing next year
