Yooka-Laylee seems like a really fun game. Can't wait for that one.

And yeah, I have already braced myself for the probably inevitable news of RDR2 delays.

Yeah, it does seem like it should be a fun game and change of pace from what I have been playing. Hopefully, I can snag it from GameFly on release day like I did Nier: Automata and Sniper Elite 4. Hehehe.

Rockstar has never released a game on it's original release date and honestly, as big as RDR 2 would be, it's not GTA, it's more in line with Fallout but going up against Destiny 2, COD and Battlefront 2 would be insane. My bet is still May 2018.

While I am sure that Spider-Man and its combat will be different then batman's. I was just saying its time for Spider-Man to get the love and attention to detail that Batman got with the Arkham games. Also it being made by the people behind Ratchet and clank games I love and not being a rushed movie tie in gives me a lot of home for it to be good. I am hoping they will show more at E3 at least. But yeah if it was this year I think we would know more about it by now have not really had any thing on it since E3 2016.

When it comes to GOW I was thinking 2018 but I have heard some rumors that it could maybe be late 2017. I am wondering what if any thing big sony may have for holidays. If they could have Spider-Man or GOW around holiday that would be big. The funny thing about Platformers and Ratchet and clank is up in till like a year or 2 ago I had no idea that people considered it a platformer. I don't I think it is more action/adventure game. I wouldn't be surprised if Mario gets pushed back to 2018 either but they do need it to come out. If it gets pushed back then switch would really have nothing in its first year in less they show off some good games at E3 that come out this year or something. Right now all switch has is Zelda and that can also be played on wiiu so I am not sure how much that really sales the system and then you have nothing at all in till Splatoon 2 and nothing big in till Mario.

True and I agree. I'm expecting a gameplay video at E3 in June and will be surprised if there isn't one. Game will at the very least be good. Marvel isn't screwing around anymore. They want their properties to be good. Insomniac will definitely make a good Spider Man game.

R&C isn't a plat-former 100% because it does have other elements but it's more of a plat-former than anything else it does in the game. Regardless of how anyone looks at it, it's a good game.

GOWIV is said to be playable from start to finish and while I do think that Sony could easily release it this year, im expecting a March 2018 release date announcement at E3 simply because with the marketing deals that they have in place with third parties, they don't need any exclusives at all during the Fall/Holidays in order to sell consoles.

With that said, I do believe that they will have an exclusive for the fall/holidays. That exclusive will be Gran Turismo Sport. Huge enough to move consoles for Sony but won't interfere with all the marketing deals due to the genres of all the games themselves.

Can see Mario being more likely to be released by Nintendo for Switch compared to Rockstar releasing RDR 2 simply because Nintendo will need a heavy hitter come the fall/holiday season. Problem is that after Mario, Nintendo has nothing that sells even half of what Mario/Zelda would sell.

Either way, 2017 has already been awesome and looks to be even awesome-er (lol) as the year progresses.

The Seagate Firecuda is a 2 TB hybrid drive pretty affordable if you're looking for storage and speed upgrade

I used a 4TB western digital mybook on my One. It was cheap and pretty quick for a standard external drive

Edit:

I goofed up. The Firecuda is an internal drive, but you could hook it up externally with extra equipment

As someone who has played and completed the stories in both (not 100%ed), I would strongly recommend Watch Dogs 2. WD2 is superior to Mafia 3 in many ways, and felt like a $60 game. Mafia 3, not so much. I enjoyed it, but it becomes really repetitive really quickly.

I would still recommend both to anyone who enjoys open world games, but Mafia 3 became a grind IMO.

Also, if you're playing on a PRO, Watch Dogs 2 is a beautiful game.

Mafia 3 is so underrated is crazy, the story is one of the best in a long time

Is it like late April when we normally start to get E3 rumors or like early may? This year is looking to be one of the best years for video games ever and it is going to be interesting to see what is shown at E3 this year and I think normally at least a small % of E3 rumors end up being true.

Certain games start revealing some information, but I think the major lead up begins in May
