All this is resettable from expert settings menu.......right?

Also this only changes the ticked input not all the others......right?

Something else I want to know is on the assigned PS4 input on the TV does it have two groups of settings?..........One for standard 4K & another for HDR or will they remain the same for both.

Yeah, this is all from the expert settings menu on your tv..

Good question, yes, do make sure before you go changing your settings that you have it set to AFFECT THIS INPUT ONLY or something to that effect. It defaults to affecting all inputs I believe. Some people have had issue with that option being greyed out. If so, try resetting your tv to get that as a selectable option again.

They will remain the same for both as it's just the input settings period. There's no difference between non-HDR and HDR.

I've got the KS8000..........after initially being disappointed with the picture I am now getting some decent results with everything except the PS4 Pro.



I've enabled the HDR for all inputs but don't see an improvement with most games........Battlefront is a fantastic looking game on my old 1080 display but it looks average at best now.

I have read that you need to select games mode to get most out of HDR but it's just not long looking good.

Is battlefront an hdr game? I didn't think it was. So if you are playing it with your tv setup catering to an hdr source it's not gonna look better.

I think Battlefront One was patched to support enhanced resolution but it doesn't support HDR. I have noticed it doesn't look much different either, although in some instances it seems the sun is awful bright (like when you're flying) but then I thought it looked great before I got a 4K TV too..

Would still fall under TV. "How do I get the best settings for my TV to use PS4". 90% of the posts in this thread have been tv settings. This thread is about the PS4. Not what tv your using for your PS4. Lots of complaints come in about this. Sorry

Anyone hear any rumblings of a sports game digital sale? I missed the last NBA 2K17 one, and GameStop has it for $29.99 this week, but would rather have the digital copy like I have for 2K16 and 2K15.

At least I got mine on sale! But I would have preferred the extra space over UC4 which I already had (along with 9M people) and dumped cheap.

Edit: $379 in Canada with no game. (I got my 500 GB with UC4 for C$299 on sale).

I got my Unchartered 4 bundle for $257 from Walmart. Since Sony finally offers the ability to use USB connected hard drives, I'm happier with this. Plus, I didn't have UC4.

EA has some of their digital sports games on sale on the psn store. Madden, Fifa, UFC etc.

Just switched to a new router with 5ghz while using my PS4 pro. I've been getting great speeds and no lag almost comparable to Ethernet. Hopefully it lasts as I do not want a long cord accoss the living room again lol.

Yeah you likely won't need to worry about wiring it, I used my Pro for a good while downstairs on the 5ghz bandwidth and it was like it was wired. Huge difference from the regular 2.4ghz.
