Might be bringing home a Pro this evening. We'll see.
I do know the wife is getting me a new TV (Even though we just got the one I use a few months ago) for X-Mas maybe earlier..
I have a 4K but no HDR.. So I wanted one with HDR and been dropping hints.. lol

Hence the reason I may go ahead and get a Pro now.

nice man, congrats if you do, its a great system and has been my primary system, as my son plays the Xbox one, but the Pro is most definitely my go to system now.

If you end up buying a Pro, pick up Horizon Zero Dawn as it's the best game that shows off the HDR and 4K on the Pro. Seriously, after playing Horizon in 4KHDR, I simply can't go back to 1080P. LOL.

Is anyone seeing broken images in the tv/video section on the xmb bar for netflix, crackle, mlb tv etc. Youtube & twitch images are there but everything else has a broken pic image. They work fine but just curious if other's are seeing this. I'm on the Pro.

I have a quick question. I'm thinking about buying a PS4 Pro at the end of year. I usually buy games digitally. My question is without copying hard drives, is there a way I can make sure the games I buy now can be on the new system?

My main thing is that I don't want to buy a game now and not be able to play them on new system

Any games you purchase digitally right now on your regular PS4 using your PSN will be available to download on your new PS4 Pro when you get it after you sign in.

I am perplexed on why I can't upload clips to youtube anymore. Just an endless loop of me having to sign into my gmail account. Never had this issue once until Thursday night.

Well what I meant was just sign in on your new PS4 Pro using your ID and then redownload from the store. But yeah you could copy to a USB drive I believe and do it that way. I've not tried it that way though myself.

I know what you meant. I should have been more clear in my response. I meant I could copy over saved data of the progress I made in current games. Like if I buy Madden or 2k, i would copy over the progress in the modes I play, so I don't have to start over.

ahh ok, I see what you mean. yeah definitely do that. If you have PSN your saves should also be in the cloud but I always back mine up anyways because I've found a time or two where something I think is in the cloud is not there.

Good luck with the Pro, I have one and I love it, worlds better than the PS4 IMO, esp with a 4K tv.
