Thanks for the replies. I decided to roll with the Pro. They had the Star Wars bundle on sale for 400. With all my trades I got the system and 3 months of PS Plus for 175. Seemed like a no-brainer at that point.

So far I have been very impressed with the system. Mlb looks unreal. Got 30 for trading in Star Wars and picked up Street Fighter V. And I'm sharing a few games from my son's PS4 acct so I'm set for awhile...

I just don't like this mid gen upgrade thing. If pro had cost the same but had a 4k player in it then I would have most likely got one has it would have cost like the same to upgrade has it like cost me to get a standard 4k player or at least close to it. Sony really messed up not having a 4k bluray player in the pro. I think ps5 will come out in 2020. Ps4 sales are still doing great and still a lot of big games to come. 2018 you got GOW, Spider-Man, days gone then in 2019 I think you will see death stranding, TLOU2 ,ghost of tsushima and then I think you will see ps5 in 2020 with a Horizon sequel being a day 1 game on ps5.

I agree with this. It's the same reason I was going back and forth for weeks trying to decide whether to buy the Pro. If it wasn't for the fact that I had all this trade in credit I wouldn't have made the jump either. I was content with the XBOX one S and its ecosystem. But there were no games I wanted to play in the foreseeable future on the system.

Does anyone here use PS Now? There’s a few games in particular I’d like to go back and play and platinum (Sly Cooper Collection mostly) but I remember when I used my PS Now trial in the past I wasn’t super impressed with it.
