It's a strategic move, and a smart one for both. By helping each other out, they can counter the efforts of Googles Stadia's game streaming service as well as Amazon's jump into web gaming and its recent acquisition of Twitch. We get the benefits of Sony using the Azure cloud for PSNow, but the development of new image sensor chips to use Microsoft’s AI technology with Sony's consumer products is still a mystery.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
According to Amazon Gaming Studios, they sound like they're all in. Now, its true that they're somewhat small with only 3 studios strong, but they recently put out an episodic Grand Tour Game for Xbox1 and PS4. Throw in AWS (Amazon Web Services) secured cloud service, Amazon Prime Membership deals and you have a competitor looming. As for twitch streaming, we all know what it is and does even though it was purchased 5 years ago. Also remember, Amazon has also published many mobile games as well. Even if they don't care about putting out a next-generation console you have to be wary with the financial purse Amazon has.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Video comparing Spider-Man load times between PS Pro and the console in development.
Sony has revealed that the next-generation PS5 will have "immersive" gameplay and "seamless" PlayStation Now online performance thanks to "dramatically" improved graphics performance and a revamped cloud system. During a corporate strategy presentation, it also demonstrated the speed of the new console compared to the PS4 (in a video captured by WSJ's Takashi Mochizuki) , showing much snappier (ten times) loading and faster speeds with complex scenes.Last edited by mestevo; 05-20-2019, 11:38 PM.Comment

It's a growing infestation that started in the xbox forum. He just wants to stir up the pot a bit to duplicate the responses.
It's a silly childish squabble from a senior member who has years on this site and should know better. Don't take the bait.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Sony confirms support for 4k / 120hz w/ the PS5, and put a lot of emphasis on cross-gen play between it and the PS4.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm looking to get an external hard drive for my PS4 Pro. I may go with this 2TB Seagate PS4 Game Drive. Has anyone tried this one? Just looking for some thoughts on it. I know there is a 4TB version but I only need a 2TB for my needs. Thanks.Attached Files"If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So I have a code for 20% off anything in the PS store. And when I try to use it, it says "This discount code is not valid for the country associated with your account."
It's a US code and my account is a US account. Anyone know if there is anything I can do to make this work?Comment
