Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
When I first seen it, that's really what I thought.
I was like, maybe I'll just be able to buy a cheap pair of skull candies and be good to go.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Fine by me. If you want to use the camera for games, Xbox One is perfect for you.Sony sacrificed camera to beat MS on price
RIP Camera and cool possible features. Devs will never include them now!Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I don't think anything's been said about whether full sound can come through the headphone jack. All we know right now is that it's a 3.5mm jack that supports stereo sound plus microphone through TRRS, so you could plug in something like the iPhone's earbuds and use that for chat at the very least.
I apologize.
I did the same thing. I was just passing off something mentioned by SCEA's senior staff engineer Chris Norden during GDC, but seeing as how it's not being touted anywhere as an actual feature, it looks like it was scrapped.

Will we be able to change our PSN I.D. without having to create a new account? I sure hope so.Comment

Well on the PSN videos all the accounts are using real names instead of created names.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I think this is going to work more like battle.net's openid system. Where if someone is your facebook/twitter/real life friend, you can use your real name as your gaming persona, but if it's someone you don't know you can use your regular PSN id.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
They actually use both. I thought I read somewhere that using your real name is an option, and works with real social networks (Facebook).Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So someone shot video of one of the closed-door demos Sucker Punch was doing for Second Son (it seems like they let places like Gamersyde and Gamespot and stuff get direct feeds of shortly afterwards) in the room itself, and the video's entertaining just for the reactions.
This game looks amazing in motion. This proved to me that the demos played were real and not playback, and that the players really did practice their routes a lot. Eurogamer said this was like playing CG.
