I didn't make that opinion just based from that trailer, there are some other videos with gameplay that prove that. It's a good game (maybe a very good one) but it's quite generic in some way, it lack personality from the way teams and players play and differentiate from others; maybe many people won't notice that (or don't even care) but people who follow closely the sport realize that.

Once the NFL and NCAA stuff starts coming I'll be more watchfull etc.. as , no I am not a soccer fan at all.

Either way I hope we see some AI advancements etc for all the sports games we love to play.
We'll see.....

Since we are on the sports topic I have to come in since that is my primary reason for gaming. Anyone expecting a leap in these games over current gen will be disappointed. I'm surprised they look as good now with complete features compared to what we seen in 05, but revisit this 2 years from now I expect we will be very happy with the results. If not, we should be playing Uncharted 4 or Last of Us 2, so it will not be a total loss.

I have to have a footy game since I just retired PES12, so FIFA14 will be my first PS4 purchase along with Watch Dogs. I have a feeling NBA Live may surprise as well, but again, it will not be a fully fleshed title for a few years, but I will take something different if decent. Tired of NBA2K, so low expectations for it. Madden not even on my radar as I have no faith in this game anymore. Good thing we have The Show and NHL to look forward to later on as those games will excel in my opinion on next gen.

I'm currently playing a lot of NCAA, but I could survive just fine with a good FIFA and NHL game. I would give anything to have a fun drag racing game, similar to IHRA drag racing on the PC or even something like NHRA.

I get why it wouldn't sell, but it would be awesome.

It's the first iteration of sports games on next gen hardware and we are already complaining... remember sports games back when current gen first came out?

Wow...REALLY weird...I knew the launch date was going to be on the 15th of Nov. I just tuned into this thread ehh 15 min ago, & while finishing up my 6th Octobefest & viewing everyone's WISH date AND peeping the release date...SOMETHING(damned if I know) told me it would be on the 15th of Nov AND, for some reason I always know who's calling on my phone before I answer it...NO caller ID...extra sense of perception? who knows. Just thought I'd share this. In closing I'll say this w/ the wifey on my lap...dropping by in this thread was the LAST thing on my mind...fo sho... coincidence?

Heh, I wasn't sure if there was anyone else out there looking forward to seeing what Live does more than 2K next gen besides me. Basically my feelings as well on that topic.

Just received the same email. What makes it sweeter is its on a Friday!!! Pick up one I have pre-ordered at Best Buy at midnight hopefully and sell the other that's coming from Amazon on eBay/craigslist. Take that cash and pay off my 2nd Xbone from Microsoft

Its the newness and unknown factor with Live. People know what they are getting with 2k and are more attracted to the potential of Live. I could give a crap about that. I just want a good game with all the features I want and I'm not sure Live's going to be able to bring that in year 1.

I am as well. Just need a change of pace as I feel that 2k has gotten a little bit stale for me. Most likely going to get Live over 2k.
