That statement is right if Live is a horrible game. But if its an average game, you will see a ton of people say stuff like "Its only Year 1 for Live" and "2k is the more complete game but Live is more fun"

Also if people are waiting tll the game comes out to see which one they want, why are people saying they are switching their preorders to Live? The only thing Live has shown us is the bouncetek demo and a fake trailer from E3 but people are switching preorders.

I fully expect Live to play like hot trash. I'm convinced there is no way a company that has found a way to destroy a top franchise could ever suddenly discover the right among the wrong.

But I'll definitely watch every gameplay video and make a decision of my own that isn't influenced by the masses.

And it may even be possible that Live turns out great but 2K is lucky charm magical. If that's the case, I'll go with 2K. But I'm not going to purchase 2K if it feels too much like 2K13 but with updated graphics. And yes while I don't expect 2K to suddenly change their entire engine and play differently, I do expect improved performance on both ends of the floor.

If 2K looks the same and Live is average, I will wait to see if The Show might fill my sports void.

I preordered the PS4 BF4 bundle. You think the DLC will be included with that?

I believe it will. The BF3 copies that came with the DLC were sold as "Limited Edition"

It was possible to buy the limited edition without preordering. I'm assuming BF4 will also ship as limited edition containing a code.

B4 over COD for sure.

Madden and 2k14 will pretty much be a port over to next gen IMO.

I would go with B4, Watch Dogs, and Killzone personally, especially if your getting Madden and 2k14 on current gen.

Nah, he has to get 1 sport game on Next gen at the very minimum.

Just preordered my PS4 today at Walmart, along with Battlefield 4 at GameStop. I'll also pre order FIFA 14 and most likely Watch Dogs as well. Pretty pumped!

I think 2Ks controls are a bit over complicated and I am not a huge fan of the player movement. I really like the game overall but it is getting a bit stale and it needs more of a "fun factor" IMO. Still, I would not bet on Live at this point. No reason to believe EA at this time.

2K is a no-brainer purchase for me, and Watch Dogs is close to it.

Madden and FIFA are both games I could potentially pick up some time in that holiday season, either as gifts or as part of some holiday sale.

I'm not particularly interested in one of the shooters.

If by some miraculous event Live is good, it will be on my radar.

This is my thought as I wont be getting current gen Madden or 2k this year. Only reason I may not get the next gen versions is because of how terrible Madden 06 was and because 2k has never really been high on my priority list of games.

After a ton of flip flopping I have finally made my concrete decision. Its PS4 at launch. Xbox One next year. I've put down some Pre orders for games on Amazon but they have yet to update the release dates so I'm stuck with 2 separate orders for now.

Watchdogs
Madden 25
NBA 2K14/Live 14 one will be canceled pending gameplay vids
COD Ghost/BF4 similar to NBA games just not sure yet.

I think Battlefield 4 is the only "must have" of the bunch. Watch Dogs is second. All others are proceed with caution if you ask me. FIFA will be the best sports title I'm sure. I'm afraid NBA 2K14 is gonna be a port to take sales from Live. Then they'll release the true next gen version in 2014. Call of Duty was originally on my list, but I'm not too confident that it won't be more of the same. That said, my list is as follows and was picked in order to give me some variety:
Battlefield,Assassins Creed,Watch Dogs,and FiFa.

BF4 is a definite for me. I'll probably download Minecraft and one or two others plus the free PSN games that come with a subscription. AC4 and Watch Dogs are games I want to play, but I'm not sure when I'll pick them up.

Honestly, I'm trying to hold out for Second Son and 1886.

Watch Dogs is the only day 1 buy for me.

Will consider NBA Live if EA can deliver a fun basketball experience. I actually had a lot of fun playing the last one they released. 2K feels overly complicated to me. Maybe I'm getting old? lol

Madden isn't even an option.

Feel the same way when I play NBA 2k. Plus, im looking for a different basketball experience and am not into NBA as much as I used to be when I was younger so as long as Live is fun, im happy.
