Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Thought for sure I was getting Watch Dogs, but with Ubisoft and Nvidia making PR noise about going through extra effort to put the best looking versions of their games on PC I'm not so sure now.
Blacklist and Black Flag are also part of this pact.

We'll see how the finished products compare, yet another reason not to pre-order absent other incentives.Comment

That doesn't bother me at all. PC will have the best versions and I'd be pissed if I was PC only and they didn't take the extra time to make my rig play a game like it should.Thought for sure I was getting Watch Dogs, but with Ubisoft and Nvidia making PR noise about going through extra effort to put the best looking versions of their games on PC I'm not so sure now.

Still will see how the final PS4 versions plays and if it looks great I'm all in.
Guess what I'm saying is PC was going to be the best version anyways.... so screw it lolLast edited by Skyboxer; 08-27-2013, 03:27 PM.Joshua:

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
PC has been relatively capped/neutered due to the current generation of consoles lasting so long, best version has never been guaranteed with few exceptions. That doesn't bother me at all. Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Well for me every PC game I've gotten the past few purchases that was also on console ...killed console game visually. (BF3 and FC3 for example)Joshua:

@SyriasSerj When you buy a PS4 game on smartphone, it will wake your PS4 up to start downloading the game. PS4 goes back to sleep after thatComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
This is what has me on the fence for getting a new console this fall. I also have a feelling 2k14 will be an amazing game but it will be almost identical to current gen. 2k6 was amazing on 360 but was basically a hd graphic update. 2k7 was the real first next gen game.I think Battlefield 4 is the only "must have" of the bunch. Watch Dogs is second. All others are proceed with caution if you ask me. FIFA will be the best sports title I'm sure. I'm afraid NBA 2K14 is gonna be a port to take sales from Live. Then they'll release the true next gen version in 2014. Call of Duty was originally on my list, but I'm not too confident that it won't be more of the same. That said, my list is as follows and was picked in order to give me some variety:
Battlefield,Assassins Creed,Watch Dogs,and FiFa.Comment

A lot of people just want something different. If Live plays a decent game of basketball some people will pick it up for a change of pace. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Now that is really cool. So I could buy a game while I'm at work digitally and when I get home the game is already installed ready to go! The future is here people!!!!!

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah, I think they pointed out this feature during that UI video with the two guys playing Killzone and the chick initiating the download from her phone. Very cool and convenient

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
AC IV and FIFA are for sure now for me along with Battlefield 4. I got a feeling one of y'all is gonna take my dog tags tho.
I was so fired up about Watch Dogs but my excitement has waned since e3 and games.com. I'll do COD or 2k14 for Christmas pending the reviews

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah, for some reason I thought we already knew about this feature. Bigger news for some here I thought would have been that the PS4 is then essentially always-on. I wonder if this is the default 'off' like what the Xbox One is doing and similar to receivers like DVRs.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The convenience here may get me to start making a few digital purchases.
A question...
Is there a PSN app out for Android phones?
More so, is it only for my PS Network ID that I have currently on PS3 or will they make another one that ties to the PS4 once released?
I had one (an app) for XBL before but for some reason when I tried to re-download it on my new Galaxy S4 it said it wasn't compatible any longer but Smart Glass was available.Comment
