The convenience here may get me to start making a few digital purchases.

A question...

Is there a PSN app out for Android phones?

More so, is it only for my PS Network ID that I have currently on PS3 or will they make another one that ties to the PS4 once released?

I had one (an app) for XBL before but for some reason when I tried to re-download it on my new Galaxy S4 it said it wasn't compatible any longer but Smart Glass was available.

The app is supposed to launch when the PS4 launches if im not mistaken.

That's really cool. If they could add a few more things, they could change my mind on going digital. For those indie games and PS+ I will take advantage by downloading by getting them over my phone.

Yeah, for some reason I thought we already knew about this feature. Bigger news for some here I thought would have been that the PS4 is then essentially always-on. I wonder if this is the default 'off' like what the Xbox One is doing and similar to receivers like DVRs.

It's really not that different from how the PS3 works now, when powering up with your Vita/PSP via remote play, or using the internal clock for to power up for PS+ auto-updates. Technically, the PS3 (the models without a physical I/O switch) is always-on and always-connected.

Thought for sure I was getting Watch Dogs, but with Ubisoft and Nvidia making PR noise about going through extra effort to put the best looking versions of their games on PC I'm not so sure now.

Blacklist and Black Flag are also part of this pact.

We'll see how the finished products compare, yet another reason not to pre-order absent other incentives.

The choice comes down to playing a better looking game on the PC, but having to deal with UPlay or getting a slightly worse looking game on the consoles, with no UPlay.

Seems like close to an even tradeoff with U Play being the pile of hot steaming garbage it is.

Now that is really cool. So I could buy a game while I'm at work digitally and when I get home the game is already installed ready to go! The future is here people!!!!!

Yeah, I was gonna say...It's a really cool feature, but requires you to always be on the internet, exactly like Xbox is...Similar to the differing levels of sleep for Xbox One I think.

I heard the PS4 console is already at 1 million preorders. That's what Sessler says anyhow.

Also interesting how on PS4 BF4 is beating COD in sales. But on XB1 it's reversed....by a lot. Don't know what that says?
