Getting major cold feet on the next gen systems right now. I'm just working out the real actual costs of getting a next gen system......and the little inner voice in is saying to wait a bit/next year and jet all the dust settle.

I might just go pick up 2k14 (the only game I play now anyways) and just roll with it for this season, let the dust settle and let Father Time make the next gen choice for me.

Anyone else getting second thoughts??

Nope, I'm getting more interested, and I haven't even pre-ordered. Was figuring on it being a Christmas present of sorts to myself, so not concerned about getting it launch day or anything.

I'm expecting a little extra money from an inheritance soon, so I'm going to use a little of that to splurge on a PS4 and a couple games (probably Watch Dogs and NBA 2K14). Probably a second controller, and undecided on the new camera. Don't necessarily need it, but the Playroom stuff does look cool so I might jump in while I have the bonus money.

Titanfall is the only game I've seen so far that I would call a "killer app."

Maybe Watchdogs if you're into open world games, but I am not.

And even then, both of those games will be on PCs.

I wonder why Amazon hasnt updated the shipping for 2K14 ? Says its released November 15th but doesn't provide a option for release day shipping and says I will receive it on the 19th. Im sure it will eventually get updated though.

My next paycheck and I'll have most of the games and system paid off.

I plan on picking up a new TV too (essentially just bigger)

So I'm excited. And it comes out on a friday, so I asked for the weekend off from work and I won't miss any classes. Just won't be able to look into anything for WD or AC IV for the time being.

Ironically I have more PS4 games preordered (5) than PS3 games I own (4).

I'll have my console and extra controller paid off next week. Its just the games that will be left. I'm sorta still waiting to see a little more but I'm certain I'm getting 2K and watchdogs. Only things still iffy for me is COD, BF4, Madden, Knack. Live gets honorable mention but that 2K trailer just bout sealed the deal.

Same here except sub Battlefield for Driveclub. Have Live as well, but confidence is lacking now for it. If we do not see anything this week gameplay wise, then I am going to switch to 2K and leave it for good. I was really hopeful for a change, but the warning signs are back and we have read that story in the past too many times.

For my PS4, I have Battlefield 4, Watchdogs, and Killzone: Shadowfall.

I said I'd keep myself to five total (I have Dead Rising and Ryse pre-ordered for the One), but I know I'm going to want at least ONE next gen sports title. We'll see how NBA Live and Madden look in the next couple of weeks, but as of right now, nothing really excites me.

Does anyone know the actual Watch Dogs PS4 release date? My amazon pre-order still says November 12, but I read elsewhere it wouldn't be out on PS4 until the 27th. If that's the case, I might look to pre-order another game so I have something other than just BF4 for the console. FIFA is a possibility.

I think the 12th is the date for WatchDogs. Dude at Gamestop said it comes out before the system is released.

Right now I have the PS4 and an extra controller paid off. I owe $80 for NBA 2k14 and BF4. I'll probably stop by gamestop this week and pay it off.

Not sure how many people care for Call of Duty nowadays but it's looking like Ghosts might have dedicated servers on all platforms.
