Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So I bought amazon gift cards and applied them to my account , when I go to my order page for my ps4 it says you have X gift card balance apply balance to this order? I click the button it refreshes but nothing changes. Anyone know what's going on or had something similar? Or does it just take a while to apply it?Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
That's too bad that it didn't work. I'm not sure how others are listing them and you can't. Looking through some that are active, I did see all of them that I looked at end on or after 10/15, so they would be able to ship within 30 days of the auction ending. Some of those auctions are weird though, there are a few that have more that 7 days left in the auction. This one has 29 days left: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PlayStation-...item3cd6df9768
Every time I have sold something, it wouldn't let me go over 7 days.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm just not convinced that the demand is going to be there. I think there will be a good amount of PS4's made available by Black Friday. I certainly don't see anyone spending $3,400 on one. There will be the lucky few who gets 2x the value from people who aren't paying attention to availability. Other then that, I think people be lucky to get an extra $100 on their flips.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
As far as eBay goes:
Buy It Now can be 30 days
Auction can go over 7 days but you have to pay the fees to list it
I really want to send it straight from Amazon there, but I am not sure. Seems risky because your order paper is in the box, it has the last four the card you used.
Another thing: People who have never sold on eBay, you will have a tough time getting full resale value without any reputation. If you have less than 10 stars, goodluck.
And be careful how you word your listing: RELEASE DAY SHIPPING! that is the worst way to word you will ship it on Nov 15th, SHIPS OUT 11/15 is better. If people believe you will ship it to their house on release day and they do not receive it, they can file a claim and you will lose your money. I see all kinds of listing that are such badly worded and could backfire.Last edited by TheBleedingRed21; 10-09-2013, 11:11 AM.Comment

Debating on the Amazon shipping as well. But can't you buy a gift card, pay the PS4 with the gift card and not worry about any other financial information being on the receipt?Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Possibly. I need to go find one of my amazon packages and just see if it only lists the item and no information. I would assume it would not have any personal information after thinking about it, because if UPS loses your package, you are at risk.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
What are the reprocussions of having the last 4 of the card that you used on the receipt? Or can't you specify gift receipt somewhere on there? I can't pull mine up right now from the phone, but I thought the gift receipt was an option.
I have 220+ 100% positive reputation, so hopefully people will see a good seller and bite on the extra premium.Twitter - WTF_OS

I have 40 rep all 100% and I usually always get top value. So if you are golden lol.
Also, I just looked as I had an amazon order just sent here and all that comes in the box are the contents list and shows how you paid, via credit/debit or giftcard. It does not show any digits just the words credit/debit.
Looks like that would be the best way to do it now, only problem is, if they want to return it, it could be a pain but still, you can offer free shipping on release date and not lose a dime and it would make your console outshine the others.
I am going to list mine on the 17th of October as a buy it now since that will cover 30 days no matter how it works exactly with release day delivery.
I have seen some in the sold listing around 1-1.5K. I think I might list mine at $1500 and if not sold, I will relist it at a different price. Be stupid not to try and get the top dollar lol.
If sold for $1500, I am looking at around ~$1320. $180 in ebay/paypal fees.
Worth a shot.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Even if you had the first number and last 4 there are 25 billion number combinations (1110) in between. That's before other forms of authorization like the code on the back, zip code, expiration, etc. Doesn't make it any less sensitive, but I'd think you're more likely to be exposed to social engineering, or matching from other data breaches if anything - and that's assuming the card hasn't changed after a known large breach.Comment

As for $3,400 those numbers arent real. People wont pay that much but they will pay double. ****, I sold a release day 360 for almost triple. Even if it my extra ps4 only sells for $100 more....its still a profit. I can put that 100 toward games.Comment
