Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Either:
A) They list a false availability date
B) A 7 day auction ends 10/16, 30 days from that date is 11/15. It should allow you to unless you put it will not ship until after 11/15.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
It doesn't matter what you put in the listing. If it finds Playstation 4 it gives you an error:
You can not submit your listing due to the following problems
The item you are listing will not be available within the next 30 days, and is not permitted to be listed as outlined in our presale policy. In order to list an item on eBay, you need to meet all of the following criteria:
Guarantee that the item will be available for shipping within 30 days from the purchase date. Be sure to clearly state this information in your listing.
Clearly state in the listing that the item is a presale item.
The handling time specified in your listing should reflect the time from the end of the listing until the item is shipped to the buyer—not the time the item is in your possession. Be sure to specify the correct handling time in your listing.
In the listing form, you need to use the default font size of 3 so people can easily see these sale terms

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Just gonna wait the 30 day limit. Not to sure on the PS4 but I'm pretty confident the Xbone will go for over $1000 easily. Gonna list mine for $1500 plus best offer

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I tried that as well, didn't work out. Maybe it flagged my account or they added that phrase now.Looking at these, this guy did this and got away with it in the title. The title has a lot to do with it. There are several more that sold or are listed with the title the same way.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I would list mine, but I'm a little nervous about getting scammed since I wouldn't even see the thing since Amazon ships it. Knowing how quick ebay is to side with the buyer, not sure they would accept "amazon shipped it" as a defense if something was claimed by the buyer.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
That sucks, I wonder if they also have the scan software on what is in the description. I've had that happen to me in the past, it detected what I wrote in the description on an item and received a warning.
Yeah, it has really gotten bad with ebay. All a buyer has to do is make the smallest complaint and ebay/paypal will side with them. Just not fun.I would list mine, but I'm a little nervous about getting scammed since I wouldn't even see the thing since Amazon ships it. Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
If the demand is there, I'll just throw mine on craigslist so I can get cash in person for it. I want the PS4, but there isn't anything at launch I'm dying to play, and I have like 5 or 6 PS3 games that I have still in the shrink wrap that I haven't bothered playing over the last 6 months or so. My gaming will have to pick up if I'm going to keep the PS4 over a big profit I could make from selling it at launch.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I suppose it's possible to get that much however I just received an email today from Gamestop that I could still pre-order an Xbox 1 (Day One Edition). Still taking pre-orders almost 30 days to release day may not bode well for ebayers.Originally posted by ImTellinTimIf I lived in Waco, I would find you and kick you right in the nuts.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm waiting until closer to launch day to decide whether or not I'll flip one of my preorders or cancel one. We should have a better idea of availability by then, plus I plan to receive my PS4 personally and then sell it.
I am kind of paranoid of selling it on eBay, though. I know how susceptible such a product is to scamming, particularly since it is an in-demand and expensive product. I can imagine Paypal or eBay screwing me out of my money because a buyer decides it never arrived, arrived broken, etc.
If I decide to sell, I'll get it in-hand first then do overnight shipping with UPS and then require signature confirmation of some sort to cover my bases.Comment

If not its no loss. I would be careful with GameStop after the crap they pulled with the Xbox 360 launch. They took a boatload of preorders and about a week before release they informed customers that there allotment was cut back and tons of people ended up without a system at launch. Shady if you ask me
We shall see

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
If you purchase tracking and just print your label through eBay there is no worries about someone saying they never received it as eBay has that info on file. That's what I do with all my sales just print USPS labels off the eBay site and just pay postage via PayPal. Plus you get 30% off going this route.I'm waiting until closer to launch day to decide whether or not I'll flip one of my preorders or cancel one.
